the nord sounds less crisp but fuller. also very boomy when played through a PA in my experience (used it on a nord grand keyboard) - the sound engineer has to really work with the EQ to make you stand out in a band. Haven't tried the Hamburg grand yet but it sounds a bit hollower and sharper which i think will sound better through PA and in a band setting. Great playing though!
Am I right in thinking that the Nord is based on modeled architecture not samples like the Yamaha?, that said I prefer the yamaha although the Nord sounds warmer, I like the purity of the Yamaha.
The Hamburg sounds more open to me with more air around each note. The Nord sounds less airy - more restrained - like a sound from an Upright piano.
To me the best sample here is the Hamburg Grand

I wonder if the piano samples on the montage are the same as the YC/CP. I find the latter to sound fuller.
The only issue I have with this comparison is that you forgot to turn on the string resonance of the White Grand on the Nord Piano 5 lol. 😂😂😂
Oh man I didn’t realize 🥴 lol
@@AndrewMcKain No worries lol, I still love your videos and comparisons. Both pianos sounded great to me.
