Thank you so much Julie. I forgot to mention, the pattern of the dress. I will mention it next time, as I’ve made a number of items from one Japanese book. x
Stunning I gave my Ellie a haircut! I love your Mermaid Tasha Mug! That box is so stunning especially with added faeries! I love the boxes too! Fabulous middie blythe!
You chose lovely music for this podcast. Ellie is beautiful (my granddaughter is called Ellie). The dress you made is stunning…..looked complicated to make. I’m sure you’ll spend some happy times with her.
Thank you so much Marion. How lovely that your granddaughter has the same name! Yes I think I will have so much fun with her and making things for her.
Thank you so much Lindsey. Oh it would be amazing as a human dress, but my lord it would take a lot of fabric. The ruffles on the doll dress were 1.25 metres wide! So on ha human, you would times it by 6! So it would be 7.5 metre wide pieces!
I love that white gown you made!! 😍 The doll is so cute and I wouldn't worry about the staining on her arms, you can try removing it but it really doesn't show up. Happy new doll!
I have really enjoyed the video today, and loved the intro, you did it so well. Ellie is beautiful, but I am saddened for you that she has the green staining. Would the doll company not send you free a blemish free body? The dress you made is gorgeous, it looks like it would have taken some time and talent. Thank you for sharing, Laurie
Thank you so much Laurie, I’m so happy that you loved it, as unfortunately my first editing efforts were lost due to a technical issue and I had to edit my video all over again. Yes the green is so disappointing, I will contact them, and I will see what they say. The language barrier may be an issue. I will wash the green dress. Thank you regarding the dress, it was rather challenging at times. I ended up using my overlocker for much of it.
The doll is beautiful how did you get started in collecting Blythe dolls ? You must have a vast collection of different doll now which are your favourites? Do you still make the Luna lapin toys ? You are very talented and se to really enjoy what you do
Thank you so much Linda. I discovered Blythe dolls when I bought a doll sewing book in the hope I could make the things in it for Barbie. However Barbie wasn’t mentioned in the book, it mentioned other dolls and Neo Blythes and Middie Blythes were mentioned. I looked into buying a Blythe so I could just measure one, but I was very confused where to buy, and I found dolls that were very expensive. So I decided to leave it. Then I found an affordable doll, but she turned out to be fake, but I continue with fakes for a while, then I wanted a real one, now I have a few. Yes I still make Luna Lapin and friends. I have four more planned. I’ve just not made any this year, my last was Gracie frog. I had a video of me showing them all going into storage, minus Gracie. It was the video about what craft items I bought. I love all my dolls, but I love them all for different reasons. There is something rather captivating about Blythe dolls. I love the size of their heads, and I love making hats for them.
Oh Claire, I just love the stock that Ellie comes with. I was thinking her hair seems to be almost a light apricot color. She is beautiful. Your white dress is wonderful and so romantic with all the ruffles and tulle. It could almost be a wedding dress. I am anxious to see who the next doll will be. LOL Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Elizabeth. My doll arrives today. Yes the photos definitely bring out her undertones in her hair. It looks different shades depending on the light. My doll is arriving today. I could have had my new doll on Saturday, parcel force for had her all week, then sent me a letter Friday, and offered to deliver Saturday for an additional £12, on top of the £38 I had already been charged this time! That’s the most I’ve ever paid, and she wasn’t one of the more expensive dolls.
She's lovely and her sunglasses are gorgeous! Fantastic that you got extra Fighting Milk things, the skates will look great on her. ❤️❤️❤️ The beautiful gown you made looks stunning on Ellie 🤍🤍🤍 What a shame about the staining 😔 "Dolly ransom", that's so funny 😄
Urban fairy Ellie was the one I was hesitating with Dear forest dear when I wanted to purchase my first Neo Blythe. She’s gorgeous and so is her stock. Btw I don’t know if you knew it but you can remove the glasses from the sunglasses so it becomes a regular pair of glasses. 😊 I think this is is really cool I’ve loved watching your video as usual ! Have a lovely Sunday Claire
Thank you so much Mandy. I don’t know if you noticed, but I discovered the lenses are removable, I included at the end, in my music video, and I put the words across the screen. However thank you for pointing this out. Choosing between dolls is a difficult task! You have a wonderful Sunday too Mandy.
@@kristinacobb2662 That’s a wonderful way to start sewing Kristina, as 18 inch are easier to sew for than small fashion dolls. Good luck sewing for barbie. If you find good patterns that fit well, please let me know. I find many Barbie trouser patterns too big for her. I have to make many adjustments.
Loved the intro claire…she’s stunning..and I adore the dress you made, you clever girl..x

I totally agree with you concerning the difference between stock and non-stock Blythe dolls. This is such a pretty doll.
Thank you so much Tammy. X

Thank you so much Lisa. I’ve tried removing the stains, but so far no luck, but I agree, that it’s not too noticeable.
Lovely doll and very beautiful dress that you made 😍
Thank you so much Julia. x

Is the green stain transfer from her dress? Will it not wash off?
It hasn’t so far unfortunately.
