What makes it hilarious is that this is a _real_ commercial for Wheat Thins with Family Guy. Just like The Simpsons did commercials for Butterfinger. Maybe they'll have South Park advertising Dr. Pepper.👶🐶
@@duaneyazzie645 The "h" actually wasn't originally silent (that's why it's there), and some dialects of English still have it. So it's actually the mainstream pronunciation that's "wrong".
Well, I can't deny that the characters have changed drastically, but that's just because the characters in Family Guy have always been just vehicles for jokes, not so much actual characters. I personally like the characters to be mean-spirited. That's where I find a lot of the comedy in the show. But if you don't like it, I mean, I've no way to argue with that.
@@omegamanGXE This was such a surreal reply for me to get because I pretty much don't like Family Guy at all anymore and I haven't even followed new seasons for several years at this point. It has become a thing I almost never think about, and yet here, in immortal internet ink, is me giving a take on it at a time when it meant some kind of thing to me. Wild. Anyway I'm glad you prefer new Family Guy and have a show to watch that you like.
I dunno man. I'll never concede that the original run was any good ('scept season 3 which was pretty okay), nor that sociopathic characters are a negative in any way. But, I seriously don't feel like the Spongebob characters ever changed. The writing is just lazy now, so you can't tell that they ever WERE characters. Also, I guarantee that Family Guy never tried to appeal to the Spongebob audience. That... doesn't even make any sense. They're aiming for entirely different demographics.
You, Sir, do not master the art of trolling if you reveal your intention as soon as you're baited once. The compliment of close relative copulating goes straight back to the neighbour country of USB.

Because he doesn’t understand the words that are silent
