Looked like a really nice day at Magic Kingdom, I've spent several holidays alone (I went to Disneyland solo on Thanksgiving this year lol) and there is nothing wrong with that, I sincerely hope you had a lovely time and have a great Christmas!

It always bugged me that Disney would say that cast members magically transform MK into a winter wonderland on or around November 1st. But in reality, all they do is decorate the entrance and Main Street. And to be honest, I was fine with that... back when they had the castle lights. And speaking of which... Maybe you should tour Fort Wilderness for some Christmas cheer. Tons more decorations -- not to mention smiles and laughter. I was going to go there last night, but Disney's post-pandemmy resort parking policies have made it more trouble than it's worth.
ahh but to me that is transforming it 🥹 hahaha i know sometimes the trees go up a few days later, but it is honestly a crazy fast turn around time since halloween has to come down!! i DO miss the dream lights on the castle so much too 😭😭 and i’ll have to go check that out for sure!! merry christmas!
