Siemens has chosen standard ranges for all their analog modules based on hexadecimal representation to signal over/underranges whatever conversion is required (current, voltage, resistance...); it is also independant of the resolution of the analog module used. Analog input is INTEGER (2 bytes) 16 bits. It is decimal 32767. Because Siemens uses the range of 27648-32767 to signal over/under ranges, for example if the voltage is greater than 10VDC, and the max is 10VDC
