The reason why vampires didn't have a reflection is because older mirrors had silver backing, if a mirror didn't have silver in it it would have a reflection.
Silver was considered the metal of purification, especially among Christianity, the reason that you couldn't see a vampire in one was because the vampire is cursed, thus the silver rejected its image.

After conducting extensive and painstakingly in depth research, I have concluded that the American version of this television programme does not have this voice either.
Laykin Renee ikr, I thought possibly saying something about “...and no car would be complete w/o at least 3-5 of them” 🙄 she probably laughed at herself and had to take 7 cuts just to get thru the hilarity. 😳 OR, she cringes at the horrible turn her career took in 2008 lol.
as far as i remember (still a teen , technically , 19 ) i hated mirrors and still avoid them to this day. why would i wanna' be constantly reminded that i look like me? EW.
Honestly the old How It's Made was better. She's actually explaining some of the elementary chemistry of the metals and stuff. Nowadays they'd just be like "yeah they spray some shit on it"
TopCuntKelvin you know what this is probably why rich people always had their maids do their makeup and hair because they didn't have mirrors so they couldn't see themselves!
TopCuntKelvin I only said so because I watched this old Korean show and it was probably set around 100 A.D and they had servants help them get dressed and put on makeup but it's probably hard to do that without a reflection
I have to admit, for a How it's Made video, this was some extreme ear candy of soothing music to listen to, especially for something as mystifying and magically fantastical as a mirror.

We dont now either, we only had this annoying voice for a year (1 Season), and thank go. The normal guy is perfect.
We don't on the NA version either, or maybe she is a sub. We have some guy with a boss voice.
After conducting extensive and painstakingly in depth research, I have concluded that the American version of this television programme does not have this voice either.
The uk one is the best one, better than this one, she sounds miserable
In future episodes, you should do how babies are made.
There are plenty of websites showcasing that.
i can answer that, netflix and chill
+Moonman that's actually a good site.
JayBird G true
They already have that episode on brazzers.
With the amount of insecurities teenagers have I beg to differ that we “can’t survive without them”.
This is fascinating!
As far as I remember, I could live without a mirror as a teen. I didn't need one.
thumbs up
Good, my house was always under construction, so we never had a mirror.
Lol I love being a guy.
as far as i remember (still a teen , technically , 19 ) i hated mirrors and still avoid them to this day.
why would i wanna' be constantly reminded that i look like me? EW.

Honestly the old How It's Made was better. She's actually explaining some of the elementary chemistry of the metals and stuff. Nowadays they'd just be like "yeah they spray some shit on it"
NeoTenic LOL. "...and it makes it kick-ass".
Seriously. The old one would have explained how mirrors work. I wish it was that.
I always wondering about this. Finally I found this
Now i understood how the mirror is made, thank you itbhelped me
What happened to the guy who narrated How Its Made on Discovery? This woman is so annoying!
Maybe he quit?
+Michelle Ann She was his boss and he couldnt stand her voice any longer and quit.
Valar Morghulis Her voice is like...scraping metal
She was the narrator before the guy. This show has been around for YEARS
Wow think about how a lot of the people of the past never got to know how their face looked...
It's not the same tho
TopCuntKelvin you know what this is probably why rich people always had their maids do their makeup and hair because they didn't have mirrors so they couldn't see themselves!
TopCuntKelvin I only said so because I watched this old Korean show and it was probably set around 100 A.D and they had servants help them get dressed and put on makeup but it's probably hard to do that without a reflection
Water reflects too you know :)
+Praise Yahweh They used obsidian back than
I have to admit, for a How it's Made video, this was some extreme ear candy of soothing music to listen to, especially for something as mystifying and magically fantastical as a mirror.
Narrator: "A fragile feet, that certainly not for the superstitous."
Mirror: shows cameraman
LOL! "special tools." they were using pliers
DrowsyEel exactly what I said when I saw the video😂😂
Leo Nardo Oh I know they wouldnt use regular pliers. That would damage the glass.
DrowsyEel I work at a glass shop and yes there special glass tools just for that any other use will damage the pliers
working in a mirror factory is a job i can really see myself doing
+Trajanowski Rifleworks Dang you beat me to it
hahaha sorry, I had to :D
You might want to reflect on that idea
I'll try to see through it
You don't want to mirror someone else's comment.
I've been looking into mirrors lately and reflecting back. I can see myself doing this again.
I'm just board waiting at Jiffy Lube.
