Im almost 80,been to Pembroke Canada, all over Canada ,I play the Harmonica , but this yung lady doesn't, have to stand up to no one ,Her timeing is fantastic Her fiddling is fantastic for a 14 yr old she is one of the best fiddle players ever
Sierra Noble is a god gifted present to the world. OMG she is great!. So nice to see and hear real talent, in this world of zero talent rap, Justin, and Briteney, and all of the other non-musical computer generated Krap.
Sierra is a very talented young woman. I saw her play at a very young age and she is one hell of a fiddle player I don't care what any critic says. I have some of her CD's. She is not Metis though but she has a sincere love for our music!!!!
+Bob Taylor One question Sr, I am from Argentina. ¿Why she call Sierra Noble?, ¿She is from Latin America originally? Sierra Noble its a word Spanish, translate in English is Good Mountain.
I know it is too late for an answer LOL Her full name is Sierra Dawn Sky Noble (the third daugther of David Noble and Sherry Noble). Sierra (English) = Sierra (Spanish) Dawn (English) = Alba (Spanish) Sky (English) = Cielo (Spanish) Noble (English) = Noble (Spanish)
Sierra was invited by Celtic Colors to play in their festival one year... She was a young teenager. I'd love to see her brought back as many times as they brought back that Scottish accordion player Phil Cunningham... She has a gift, to be able to slide that bow across those strings and making such a beautiful sound...
Juwarto to answer your question she is Metis there's and accent over the e but I don't know how to make it come up. Metis basically means mixed blood. it is a mix of Irish or French and other indigenous people like aboriginal or native American. They have their own culture and music style.
+Rachel Bockover You can make a e with acute accent by holding down the Alt key and typing ON THE NUMERIC KEYPAD (not the numbers on top of the regular keyboard) 0233: é = Alt-0233. You need to type the leading zero. e with grave accent is Alt-0232, e with circonflex (sp?) is Alt-0234: ê. You can play with other combinations and get almost all the diacritics used in most European languages. Or, go to start menu, Run, type in charmap and hit enter and the character map app will come up -- you can find what you want and copy and paste.
+pdoggy10inch Measuring from your a-hole doesn't count. You are going to have to subtract 7 inches. Can you figure that out? 10-7 leaves you with 3 inches!!
***** I thought that was him frome seeing Kenny back in the days. Lucky guy gets sto play with the great Sierra... She is a smokin hot lady and fiddle player.
absolutely love this...my screen slid over, I accidentally hit the dislike button while surfing through multiple screens...so sorry...my magic mouse it is tad sensitive...
Oops, unless you're a pro, who can afford premature re-hairing. Most old time fiddlers carry small nail clippers for this task. (I just noticed she nervously yanked out a few)
Ha, that's nothing. I've seen people choke up on the bow much higher than that. I saw one guy's video where he was holding it practically at the halfway point.
I think that's rather harsh. When playing country/western music, it doesn't make a huge deal of difference how well haired your bow is and a little bit of showmanship can be a good thing. That's just a personal opinion though, its fine that you disagree.
certainly an amazing fiddler but playing with shredded hair hanging off your bow is just showmanship IMHO. Rip them off please it certainly doesn't improve the sound of your fiddle.
Your criticism is misplaced. He is doing nothing that shouldn't work fine in the background if it was mixed that way... it is only a live YT video after all. The fiddle is too low and thin sounding from the get go in the video. Probably worked fine live. I am sure she had control and chose to loosen the rein because she felt his ability lent something to her overall sound. You however, sound like you would be a drag to play with.
It never bothered me. This isn't snooty symphonic orchestration. And remember - CUT those hairs off. You can't pull them out, as they hold the others in place.
Great performance Sierra! We stayed even in the poring rain! Love your music!
Top notch! With a million dollar smile as an added bonus! I'll certainly take in a show when I hear Miss Sierra's nearby!
Sept. 2, 2014 and I never get tired of this video!
Just beautiful to listen to your lovely fidddle playing, Sierra.

nice Sierra Noble ,,, Vive l'Acadie dla belle musique a twister.
Awesome !!!!!
you can fiddle, you can sing, how talent you are
Superb. Winifred Horan (Solas) would be envious of her bow-shredding antics.
Great show. Really like your fiddling
That keyboard player has the best seat in the house.
What a great talent.
Wow. She's really good.
OH My God ! I've just discover you .... My Mom played many of the reel you play!
It's realy GREAT .
Very good!
The best thing to add to a pretty girl with a nice voice, is a fantastic fiddle perfomance. Great.
She’s an absolutely amazingly awesomely fantastically wonderfully beautifully talented fiddle player
I can cry 😫
So sorry this covid slowed down local music . Love this stuff
My feet can't stop
Wow!
Great! Come to Denmark, Tønder Festival!
She OWNS her craft. Does it really get any better than this? Maybe Marl O'Conner, but in what she plays.
The Tunes are Snowflake Reel, Mitton's Breakdown, Big John McNeil, and Orange Blossom Special. :)
I think it's Snowflake Breakdown.
Wow, Romania is there in the back
What we have here is a genius.
jerlan2
You know someone's Fiddling hard when their bow starts falling apart! (Happened to me on a few occasions)

My name is Sierra too, and I play the violin too! But I'm only 11
Your 14 now! Happy bday
it was a rainy day and probably from the tone and broken bow hair she was having trouble with rosin grabbing the strings it happens She is a TALENT
pretty smile
I don't think there's a better fiddler out there anywhere. Anyone who enjoys beautiful fiddle music should check out her waltzes.
Starts at 1:13
She has the same stage energy as Cajun Doug Kershaw.
One day I hope I'm as good as you h
she chokes way up on that bow
Yeeehaw!
Jammin 😄
If this isn't the best fiddler in the world, I'd like to see who's better.
bullshit
jerlan23 maybe Marc O'Connor?

Anyone know where she's from?
Sonia Romero Winnipeg Canada
Is that Kenny Shields bass player???
Ken Kun Yes, that is the very talented Bruce Jacobs :-)

Great music. Off topic but you should have been Katniss in Hunger Games. Don't know what they were thinking.
What are these songs called!
Sierra is hot is she on the market??
Sierra is Metis Canadian!

Strange outfit, yes

Is this Celtic and Bluegrass? wtf
It's Métis, not Celtic or Bluegrass.
Someone tell the bass player he is supposed to comp her playing and be the support, and not play lead bass. Everybody wants to get into da act.

Is she wearing a dress as a shirt?
Lol
