Towards Bangalore City side it would be of great advantage If the express way is further taken forward from Hoskote and directly connected to the outer ring road (ORR) skipping the ever present traffic jams at Krishnarajapuram . Otherwise it will be the same story of getting into slow moving traffic and traffic jam. This means that it will not be possible to fully take advantage of the benefit from this express way unless we resolve the above issues of traffic jam and slow moving traffic between Hoskote and ORR. The merge point of expressway with NH4 old madras road is 20km from Tinfactory flyover start which is gateway to Benguluru. In Chennai in Google maps tied work is not yet visible but sriperumbudur toll plaza to Koyambedu is 33km. But the merging point is beyond that so that means around 40km. Distance now is 322km and of central railway stations are taken another 25km making 347km vs train distance 358km.
Yes, thats why you can cover current distance 262km i maybe 3 Hrs. But you will spend another 3 hours in city limits of both Bangalore and Chennai. Need to bring the starting points much closer to KR Puram and Koyambedu respectively. May be build an elevated 4 lane within city limits for seamless non stop travel. Else not much benefit compared to the other 2 existing routes. Particularly because this new expressway is only 4 lane and doubt if you can maintain 90 kmph for sustained periods of time. Even a 6 lane might have helped maintaining higher max speed.
VB from MGR to SBC takes 4h 15m. KJM to MGR VB takes 4 hrs similarly. Need overall time on expressway to not be significantly more. It will be 6 hours still, point to point.

Good video. I still do not understand why it will take 4 hours to cover 260 km on a continuous expressway. The 120 km BLR-MYS expressway takes under 80 minutes to cover. So by same maths, BLR- CHN Expressway distance f 260 km should be covered in 2hr 45m to 3 hrs time max (Avg speed of 85-95 kmph). 4 hours is too much for an expressway I believe. May be you'll another 1 hour within Bangalore and another 1 hour within Chennai city cores. So point to point (house to house) will still be 5 Hrs or 5:30 hours if you take a half hour break. Today end to end takes 7-8 hours. S some 2 hours reduce. Would have been better if half time reduced. Still decent, as other 2 routes will et decongested, and this will lead to more economic development.
There are some factual errors in the video. 1. The old madras road (hoskote) route is 334 kms 2. The Hosur Krishagiri route is 346 km. The new highway will also be around 330 km. It starts from Hoskote and connects to Sriperumpadur in the old highway. Reaching Hoskote is the biggest challenge. It will take 1.5 hrs from the city. It is not also connected to NICE road which makes it use less for trucks. There is no need to construct this new highway. That's why from 8-lane it became 4-lane suddenly
Already Banalore to Pune expressway planned. They're planning to extend it till Mumbai by having bypass at Pune outer. If they link the BLR-CHN expressway to Tumkur road at BLR North (via BLR PRR/ STRR), then yes, you have a Chennai - Mumbai link also.
Excellent progress. But even if there are 5 lanes on each side, and if 5 trucks or slow paced vehicles use all the 5 lanes parallely, then the purpose of the expressway is lost there. Without bringing out real good lane discipline and driving behavior by us, there is no proper utilization of the expressway.

Hello I am first time seen such a massive drone picture... I felt like watching some international english movie.. great thanks
I wish it could have been made as 6 ways or 8 ways lane !!!! Then easily we could reach in 2 to 2.5 hours
Your post production is highly professional. Thanks for covering this sector.

Good job... well collected data
Why are we not planting trees on both sides? We need small flower bearing inbetween the two ways so that light from opposite vehicle can be avoided.
Nitin Gadkari is gem
Good job 👍, seems 3 intersection it will be getting apart from Hoskot and Sriperumperdhur
1.Kolar or Palmanar ( Chitoor )
2.Manimangalam (Vellore)
3.Paranthur ( Chennai's second Airport )
March -2024 is that the deadline for roadways and railway?? Lane too
आप बहुत अच्छे से समझाते भी हो और बहुत अच्छे से बोलते भी हो ❤️❤️❤️❤️👑👑👑👑
Waaahhh ! Extraordinary road connectivity
Is Rs 17000 Cr. only construction cost or (construction + land acquisition cost)?
Considering its greenfield and not concrete seems like cost is all inclusive.
@Gotham City Its a greenfield elevated expressway.
From Bangalore to Vijayawada direct express way is really very very urgent need. At least 20-30yrs waiting need it is. There is not direct route now. This is peoples very very long pain it is. Bangalore->Tirupati->Naidupeta->touch the Chennai NH here to reach Vijaywada. This is really very very long (L shape) route & very very time consuming it is. Diagonal connectivity between Bangalore & Vijayawada VERY VERY URGENT need for the people. If not Vijayawada, at least the connectivity should be landed at Chilakaluripeta (or) at least at Ongole. Similarly train route as well should be created along this high way diagonally. Train travel also greatly time consuming between these 2 cities Vijayawada & Bangalore. Since last 23+ yrs i am seeing some day this will happen, so far nobody taken up this. Hope Sri Nitin Ghatkari ji will look into this very very long requirement on high priority. thank you.
Very interesting content indeed 🔥
Cheers from Bucharest Romania!!
@@Jo70964s yes indeed.
Bro update on Hyderabad-vizag and Hyderabad-raipur expressways 🥺🥺🙏
Is it 4 way each side ( total 8 roads for too & fro ) or 2-2 way each side ( total 4 roads too & fro ) ?
Great work team please make a video on satellite town ring roads that’s being constructed around bangalore which even Gadkari ji mentioned recently
Nice presentation
Please highlight on tree plantation along side
Good effort
Banguluru-mysore expressway ka under construction stretch ka update kaha hai?
Update on Bangalore Mangalore highway?
Gudipalla to mudravayalle, service roads in melpadee, melvantapuram, bannavaram, Tirumalpur, parndur, sunguvarchatram, sriperumbudur, irukattukotti ,ponnamalli etc.
should 262kms take 4 hrs at max speed of 120 kmh?
100 is max on highway
Great project by the Central Government !
Lets 'thank' the NATURE, TREES, GREENERY, WATER BELTs, AGRICULTURAL LANDs for allowing Humans to lay this road on "THEM". Even this road is possible by means of an Elevated Highway instead of occupying huge acres of land. Well, are we matured to care for the Nature?. All we need is Development and ship the natural resource by tagging it as Economy Booster.
May Nature Excuse Us and Bless Better Ways to Deal Them
Thank you for making videos of southern metro expressway. Appreciate your team efforts in coverage of video.
From Bangalore to Chennai already 2 best route are there. Putting effort & resourses on 3rd route !! From Bangalore to Vijayawada direct express way is really very very urgent need. Just to reduce 70km they are doing this??
Actual date of completion
Appreciate Nithin Gadkari...
We appreciate your effort in showcasing the progress of this Express Way
we travel chennai-bangalore in 5 hrs in existing 6 lane road
Beautiful video. Congrats !
There are some factual errors in the video.
1. The old madras road (hoskote) route is 334 kms
Nitin Gadkari sir salutes to you sir🙏🎉 👌👏
Great Info and Nice Coverage through drone
🙏,Please make it a 🛣️ 800 Lane Road Expressway 🛣️ 🔄🔃 with a Limited Speed Limit of 2000Km/Hr-4000Km/Hr.

Please make a video on Bengaluru and Mangaluru Expressway
We need Chennai to Mumbai Expressway!!
@@kanakTheGold touching Bengaluru is waste of time! It should be via Chennai-Andhra-Pune-Mumbai
Amenities highway ?
Bro ,when was start bangalore to Vijayawada green field highway works?
They should also focus on current NH4 express way. Which between Chennai to RANIPET. Roads are really bad here
Nyc1 Bhai 😍
Great work. Please try to cover surat-chennai economic corridor
Build under ground tunnels ro carry water, gas, electrical and electronic wires etc for optimal utilisation of highway land
It will connect to peripheral ringroad it won't get direct connection to bengaluru city since to avoid traffic.
Which place is this..
Delhi Mumbai Expressway ke Sohna se Video series banao 👍 .... Inauguration he so ...Sohna Se Dausa ...Or Dausa se Mumbai tak kab Complete hoga iske liye public Curious hogi ...Or Nitin Gadkari Or NHAI & Gov. Officials ke Nazar me Aane Ka Chance he 👍
They should have put a parallel high speed railline also, this would have made passenger movement in 1 hr without the need of airline. The express is for freight and cars, highspeed for people movement.
I think they will, remember there is a provision for extra lanes ...
@@souravchakraborty8861 Mysore- Bangalore- Chennai Bullet Train route is said to be aligning to some extent with both the BLR- CHN and BLR-MYS Expressways. But project completion is planned in 2051 !
Sir raipur vishakha patnm expressway ko bhi cover kro
Plz NH 69 AND NH 73 TUMKUR SHIMOGA HIGHWAY PLZ
This expressway should also be linked to Bengaluru mysuru expressway.. it will boost economy at very vast level which one cannot even imagine..
PRR , if done will do so. It will connect Whitefield/Hoskote through Bommasandra to NICE Toll plaza on Mysore road side and completely bypass Bangalore Est to South to West and cover this distance in about 50 minutes, which currently takes 1.5 - 2 hours.
Super come fast this work
Why 4 hours for 262km? If it’s all expressway with 120km speed limit , it shouldn’t take less then 2.5 hours .
Nice shot doremon
😂😂
Informative video, Also mention who is the contractor who is building the Roads
Visionary P. Chidambaram started this project long back.. good that current govt picking it and trying to.complete
If possible can you please update Tumkur to Shivamoga 4 lane work progress ?
What would be the approx time to reach Chennai once completed?
I think around 3 hours
