I’m trying to make a cup holder for my wife’s walker. I think I can use the same method as the “stone wrap”, using 1 length that is slightly longer to create the bottom ring, then attach the other 3 lengths to the looped portion. My dilemma is how to handle to top of the wrap, because I can’t close it the same way, or she won’t be able to put cans/cups/etc in and out! (I’m planning on using a plastic cup as the holder, with rope netting supporting the cup.) Any ideas for forming the top of the wrap? I’m thinking the top series of knots which form the net would have to make a series of triangles, with the lines from the topmost knots tied in a series of… surgeon’s knots????

I learned/taught myself how to make baskets out of magazines. It took three different videos, all with their own techniques, for me to come up with my own style. I had to stop making the baskets because my hands started to cramp up. Those baskets were my mental therapy. I was CRUSHED! (Years ago I started to collect stones. I have always been fascinated with stones and crystals.) Then I seen the display picture of your video. INSTANTLY I KNEW THIS WAS IT.
For three months I aimlessly searched for a new craft. Untill today.
Thank you for being clear when you spoke. Your fingers never get in the way. I undertood ever word the first time because you, my dear, Rocked in the video, and you were CLEAR. All I have to do now is get some cord. Lol.
Doing knots won't hurt my hands. I'm so happy. Thank you for the video. I know I can do this.

I read one of your viewer's comments that it seemed "time consuming", however, you covered absolutely every facet involved, probably making it appear much more tedious than it actually is....@ last that's what I'm guessing, anyway.... ;) Again, a huge thank you for the excellent and therapeutic lesson. I'm so excited to start my first piece! Absolutely fantastic instructions, this is perfect!!! Everyone make sure you measure carefully (like she instructed) the first bottom loop where your stone will sit, make sure that fits the bottom of the stone correctly and not too small (like mine was) or it won't sit right. But this works out well, I was very happy with how easy this is to do. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

My advice. I suggest using super long pieces of cord so that you have enough for the end. Mine was beautiful at first but didn’t even have enough to finish so I just wasted my time today.🤷🏼‍♀️
