Darkstalker's Diner was an idea I sort-of had on the spot whilst looking at the lyrics for this song. I thought the idea of it really flowed with some of the events of the original story, so I was inspired to make this MAP! :)

Fathom is the main character of this MAP. Whilst trekking through a frozen wasteland with Indigo, the only dragon he could still trust, they discovered a series of tracks all leading to the same direction. When they followed the tracks, the two lonely travelers found themselves at the foot of a great crumbling city. Long abandoned and looming, it stood like a sentinel granting the hopes of food, water and warmth. Although Indigo was beginning to feel suspicious of the whole ordeal, their fatigue claimed they had no other choice but to enter. The tracks continued for some time until finally reaching the end point. A Diner, colorfully lit and glowing in warmth. The word melt in the name promised an escape from the cold outside world.
But it was out of place.
There isn't any meat to cook with in a frozen wasteland... there isn't, right?
Hey guys! I hope you all like this MAP concept. I really wanted to make up for my last MAP concept which was about as bland as a sack of sawdust. It was really hard to fit the long story concept into such a short song, so I'll warn you, it goes quite fast.
It is a storyboard, but I'll admit, I may have put one too many frames in some of the shots. I got too excited, perhaps.

Darkstalker chopping up and eating icewings, this map has a really cool premise, it's so unique! The storyboards look amazing, really hope this map goes well

This is probably one of the most unique maps that I have ever seen , the whole idea of Darkstalker making an IceWing meal is a cool way of showing his hate and how many icewings he killed during his years of life , really love it and can’t wait for it to come out fully animated (if that happens)

Extremely cool, gives me intense anime vibes. Mainly bc of how "gorey" it is
See I don't mind blood. However when it's realistic and correctly animated(such as bleeding from the mouth after a hard hit or bad wound), it makes me a bit nauseous and I don't like it much. Will probably watch the end result tho
im the same honestly, hate real life blood and well animated blood,, but blue blood just doesnt register as blood for me hahshe

Applied for the MAP! I think this is the first time I've seen a wof project where dragons have hair, but I think the design choice is cool! I'll be drawing some more fanart in the future- maybe even Fathom making/drinking soup! :]

HOLY SHIT I came from the channel yuune with the superpower video, and this is amazing. I didn’t like the song as much at first but it fits it so well and I find my sled loving it now. The eyes and faces as well as the rest of the dragon bodies are so well made and even though it’s not even a full animation it’s better than most I’ve seen. Also note, I thought that darkstalker was a coincidence until I saw the comments and realized it was wings of fire lol. But THIS IS AMAZING!
Edit: little theory, but I think that the blue cat necklace is a enchanted object with viewing and or emotion controlling in it.
eyyy! its cool to see someone coming from my other channel :) and your theory is very interesting! In the MAP script I explain the plot of this alternate darkstalker story. The cat necklace is indigo, who darkstalker enchanted to be trapped inside. Clearsight is the other cat figurine! although in this alternate version of the story, clearsights character is a living symbol of darkstalkers conscience. theres a few things you can take from that, that his conscience is seperate from him because he is not fully sane, the clearsight design is in black and white like the soul reader and yeah im ranting haha

Well done map. It seems very official, I’ve never seen something so, how do I say it, official like? Feels like something that would be produced by an actually TV studio.
Apart from that, the thumbnail creeped me out so much that I had to listen to the A-Team theme just to overcome my nerves.

I can not express how excited I am for this map- it’s so perfect looking! And the concept is insane and so creative!
i just wanna say this is by far the best scripted map ive ever seen- its so creatively done and it builds up so nicely. absolutely wonderful idea, it really puts into perspective how much darkstalker hated his father (and other icewings), and i love how he repeats what he said to fathom to moon at the end

Aaaaaaaaaa this is so good, I wasn’t going to make another comment but even after the probably 30+ times I’ve watched this it is still just amazing. I really love how this builds atmosphere, something which I am awful at. I can’t really describe why I think this is so good but I love it :)
