- Welcome to a brand new Fake Nendoroid Vs Real Nendoroid Comparison Video! I honestly forgot about this haha! Luckily, a subscriber reminded me. Anyway, let's go all through the differences between Hinata Shoyo's Real Nendoroid Vs his Fake Nendoroid! Here goes the sunshine of Karasuno Volleyball Team, from the anime series, Haikyuu!
For those new to this, here’s the nendoroid comparison in order:
• First, Nendoroid box details comparison
• Then, we compare the Nendoroid parts
• After that, we will compare the articulation between the REAL Hinata Shoyo Nendoroid and the FAKE Hinata Shoyo Nendoroid
• and lastly, the price difference
Let’s begin with the front of the box. REAL Hinata Shoyo Nendoroid LEFT SIDE while FAKE Hinata Shoyo Nendoroid on the RIGHT SIDE. Real Hinata Shoyo nendoroid first, notice the details like the anime series logo and the goodsmile company logo, as well as the orange words on both sides.
Fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid next. Unlike the real nendoroid, his box has no good smile company logo. The anime series logo also looks smaller and the orange color is darker. Right side only has the warning sign and missed the usual nendoroid tag line. Below the box window, details like the goodsmile company logo and sculptor information are missing on the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid. Again, the orange color appears to be darker in shade.
The real Hinata Shoyo nendoroid's box has a special detail. It has volley balls that become more visible when reflected by light on certain angles. The fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid on the other hand remains glossy and empty. No the same volley balls details on any part of the box.
Top of the box next. Real Hinata Shoyo nendoroid up top and fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid below. There are missing details above the nendoroid number of the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid. Such as the goodsmile company logo and sculptor information. The goodsmile company logo below the nendoroid photo is also missing.
Bottom part of the box, same difference. altho this time, below the nendoroid photo is the barcode and not the goodsmile company logo.
Right side of both boxes. Darker shades of orange are used for the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid box background. The photo used are saturated, no round side windows, the product name is in white instead of orange and no goodsmile company logo at the bottom. Left side of both boxes has the same difference as the right side.
Back part this time. Top left of the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid has his nendoroid number and product name printed while the real Hinata Shoyo nendoroid has the goodsmile company, nendoroid tag line and a sticker. The main full body photo of the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid is printed with harsh colors and the shadow behind is more obvious compared to the real Hinata Shoyo nendoroid on the left.
Below the nendoroid photos are warning signs. the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid seems to be missing a lot. There’s also no goodsmile company customer support box with QR code on the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid, as well as the goodsmile company logo.
The real Hinata Shoyo nendoroid’s dust flaps has this detail while the fake doesn’t. Inside the box, we see a bright orange rear cardboard with circle cut outs on each side. There’s also the nendoroid number and at the bottom is the goodsmile company logo. Meanwhile, the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid's dust flaps has no separate cardboard and the orange shade looks pale.
The real Hinata Shoyo nendoroid sold for more than 40 us dollars - while the fake Hinata Shoyo nendoroid was bought for 10 dollars. Such a huge price jump, I know so, it will be up to you if you choose the expensive authentic nendoroid with great quality or the fake nendoroid with much cheaper price tag but bad details and are knock offs of the original work.

hi, do you (or anyone) happen to have a nendoroid body? (like the ymy/ob11/disono) i would want to ask if the bootleg head would fit the body? it's my first time buying so I didn't have much knowledge about bootlegs. I bought my nendo and it was a bootleg plus it was pretty expensive too😭 It hurts me but I saw ppl on tiktok have these bodies attached to their nendo heads so i thought maybe I can sort of at least make use of my bootleg maybe by dressing them but before that I wanna know if the body would work on bootleg nendoroid heads because I don't want to waste money again😭 thank you

I asked someone on yt if the old format fits and he said that the body fits both and since most bootlegs are old format and it’s obvious that the new format will fit so yuh👁👄👁👍🏻

I recently received a fake Emma (from the promised neverland) Nendoroid for my birthday last week. It is actually really close to a real Nendoroid tho. The neck peg and arms would come off or would look odd so I had put my Norman (he’s real) spare neck peg and arms on her since they have similar outfits. She now looks really nice on my display and doesn’t fall apart!!😊
Wow! I never knew authentic Nendo parts could fit in fakes! I'll try it on my next nendoroid comparison if ever I'll remember 🤔

Hmmm kinda helps but just for the curiosity alone. I don't think I'll do this on my other nendos since I just buy fakes for comparison video purposes only. Nice idea tho.

Sadly due to the Haikyu! hype, there's still a lot of fans who'll buy the knockoff just to satisfy their cravings. It's either they can't afford or are unwilling to pay full price for the authentic one. How this affects the figure industry remains to be seen 😅
However, the difference in quality is so clear. Those sleazy companies should try just a little bit harder 😂
True. It's sad actually. I mean, IMO if you really love a series and you plan to support them then it's best to buy their official stuff. The figures atleast would help the figure industry so it would be a winwin situation. Altho I understand the money issue. It can't be helped sometimes. Sigh. I wish more people would consider saving. Authentic figures are always better and more durable than fakes. 🥺
My first ever figure was actually a bootleg Hinata, everything was fine except for the faces (they looked hideous lol) so I just put one of my other real nendriod heads on him and now he look super cute!
I'm confused. So you replace the whole head for another character or just the faceplate? If so, I'm surprised the fake's hair actually goes well with an authentic nendoroid's faceplate (*꒪ヮ꒪*)
Jenny! You saved my life today! Ok so I was looking at the Haikyuu figure section of Mercari today and I stumbled upon a Hinata nendroid that was priced at 22 bucks plus shipping I looked at it saw the stickers and labeling from Good smile and INSTANTLY purchased it. It looked real authentic and not a bootleg though I was sceptical at first bc of the pricing I checked both My Figure Collection and your channel and I think it's real IDK they didn't have all the pictures of the box and I didn't want it to get sold 😭😭😭 it should be here in a few days so fingers crossed I'm so nervous bc if it's an original I got it for a HUGE bargain but if not imma sit in my room and cry the whole day but anyways thank you for the video I knew you had one of Hinata and I came here right away after I bought it. Let's pray to the goddess Kiyoko that it's a real Nendroid 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Edit: So it was a fake 😭😭😭 but as if a MIRACLE FROM ABOVE not even two days later I was able to snag a AUTHENTIC Hinata Orange Jersey Nendroid for about 55 bucks which now that I have experience the CRAZY pricing of nendroids now is a pretty good price. Thanks Jenny!

Hi! I really enjoy and learn a lot from these comparison videos!🥰 I'm new to this😅 and wanted to buy a haikyuu nendroid. I searched for it on amiami but it said order closed. Good smile company says out of stock. I saw one of your replies mentioning phantomdibs, there it says out of stock, but before the characters name it says incoming stock. I'm a bit confused, so you can buy them from time to time, since they're mostly made by hand? Is there a way of knowing when they will restock? What do you do if it is, would you just have to wait? Sorry for the long reply😅

When in says incoming stock, it means pre order period is already closed but the figure is already out for release. All you can do is wait and be on look out since nendos tend to get sold out fast. However, phantomdibs is an online shop that only accept orders within the Philippines so I can't recommend them to you, since they don't ship internationally.

Haikyuu fakes are so common that I swear you could probably find better quality ones for the same price, but it's crazy how they do it 🤨
I bet. There are a lot of knock offs out there with different manufacturers and I just happened to buy this shitty fake. Guess there really are better fakes but I'd rather choose the original still. 😂

Hi! Sorry for the late response 😔 it was My friend's shoyo nendoroid. He just let me borrow this for comparison purposes. But usually, I buy from an online shop named the phantomdibs. You could also try and check Goodsmile website directly if ever they have him on stock

The price can sometimes deceive you, here in Brazil there are a lot of ppl selling fakes at the price of originals
Same in our country that's why price is not the only thing that should be noted when buying. It's hard to find shops that sell authentic especially on countries like Brazil. Idk why tho :|

Check facebook nendoroid marketplaces or groups. You could totally save from buying pre owned figures. I once saw a 20 USD authentic Hinata nendoroid!

Fake figures always have problems with the pegs. I have a few before I know what’s going. The pegs never fit right. When you resort to crazy glue to make sure things are in place, it is a sure sign of it being a bootleg. Thanks for the video

However, you can try and look for second hand hinata nendoroids sa fb group page. i search lang nendoroid marketplace (philippines) naa diha daghan resellers sa ilang collection! Please check legitimacy nlng pud before you buy. Not everyone sells authentic man gud labaw kay FB lang. Best of luck!

if you're really anxious on buying online, it's best to stay away from places like aliexpress or amazon and do shopping directly from goodsmile or amiami instead. These shops are legit 👌🏻

My Miku sSakura has arrived and it is indeed a copy, it is very well made to be a pirate, except that it has some small details, apparently the faces were fine but I just moved them gently, they literally broke and separated from the neck, so I have a beheaded miku , F for me, the other details are, some prints of the design come in blue, like the flower on his tie is blue not white, a small scratch on the blouse and the arms fall off easily :| The Box arrived in good condition and with all its accessories, as one last thing about Falla is that the shoulder cannot be separated from the arm to put the other pose of its full arm, how much do I give it? 4 out of 5 stars :'/

Probably 1 star. First, you received a fake. 2. All the features of the product did not meet your expectations and the product itself had minor damages despite being declared as brand new. I don't think it deserves a 4 or 5 stars as rating. 🙁
@@JennySupremo If it met some of my expectations and the small defects that it had, I repaired them. I must clarify that I saw the images I thought it was original but in reality it was not (to be honest they tried hard with the design of the box and it even has a nice background printed), but I really don't care that it is a copy ^^
Well, if in the end you feel happy or satisfied about it then all is good. It's just unfortunate you got a fake for an advertisement trying to sell it as real :(
