Dave Dunipace of Innova keeps making discs for the common man….and I love it!!!!
Heck yeah.
Since they kept getting older they had to create discs they could throw too😅 And thank goodness cause there are many people who benefit from more understable and lighter discs.
@@ryansuter4424yea it’s only because he’s getting old. Dunipace could throw an Aero 600 feet back in the 80s.
I appreciate that Innova actually put different turn numbers on the Gstar Gorgon and the Gorgon discs. Gstar Gorgon is listed at 10/6/-3/1 while Gorgon is listed at 10/6/-2/1. I wonder if the Gorgon in Pro plastic flys more like the Gstar Gorgon or the Gorgon.
I’m glad they did that too. Not a lot of manufacturers are making that kind of change.

Appreciate the response!
Have a great day
I have 4 coming in 3 plastics including my first ever proto-star. The look of the rim reminded me of the IT, and my love of that mold made me buy these.
dang.. i need to try an IT
@@fathomz IT is this week's FreeDiscFriday
Nice!
Have you thrown a Champion IT? I have a medium arm and suspect a Star IT might be too under stable for what I'd want it for; controllable, easy hyzer flips to straight shots.
@@axlespelledwrong No, I haven't thrown Champion yet.
Mamba, Gorgon, Road Runner, IT, and Leopard is my understable Innova grouping.
do you have an overstable grouping?
Nice!
@@frankhaula Firdbird, Wraith, Thunderbird, Pig, Rocx3, Toro, Rat
@@Ishiisan do you have an stable grouping?

I'm excited to try that! I have a pretty slow backhand that might get me some easy cheat distance
Yes. It should be great for you.
I like the STD aka s liine td from discmania. These look a touch more understable. Not to mention the different flight numbers for the flippier gstar. Good stuff.
Yes! This is probably their answer to the TD. Maybe it’s the old Innova made Discmania mold?
Love your content! Keep it up, and I'll keep watching!
I appreciate man. Thanks for the encouragement.
I'm getting a couple, one in G-Star and one in Star. I love my Beast and this should go a little further. Nice review.
Let me know how it goes.
Beast has a Rim of 2.0 centimeters while the Gorgon has a larger Rim Width of 2.1. It has the potential to go farther.
Anyone else notice some runs of Pro plastic feel closer to GStar or Star plastic, maybe its been this way for awhile but pretty different from pro plastic 10 years ago, feels better honestly
The Pro Driver plastic definitely starts out feeling more like a tacky star plastic. But, it beats in much quicker. I love it for drivers, especially in a mold that might be too stable for my arm speed.
these look like hyzer-flip monsters! should be great in the woods
Yes!
Gorgon, Monarch, Mamba Wraith and Invictus all have RIm Widths of 2.1cm. I would consider all of them 11 speeds.
That would make more sense.
The first throw with the Pro plastic looks more like the -3,1 of the G-Star version.
Sure did. First throw of the day into a headwind.
Gorgon has 2.1 rim width and
Mantra has a 2.0 rim width
That must be the difference in speed. Gorgon is faster for sure.
LFG PART TIME DISC GOLF!!!
Thank you!
