In order for Heartland to work, Ty's relevance and influence must be present in Amy and Lindy's life. Amy must talk more about Ty to Lindy, how amazing he was as a father, husband and overall person. Fans know Ty can't be replaced, therfore all of this "Amy needs a man" drama especially with Nathan are the writer's attempts to keep things interesting and not boring{this is a drama series}.But in the end the story will revert back to Ty and Amy, because in my opinion this series first and foremost is and will always be the Amy and Ty love story.

I can't believe Season 17 only had 5 Episodes. We need more on Season 17 before starting Season 18.

I just do not like Katie. I wish I did, but the story line for her is boring. I have been watching season 17. But now it is on mid season pause. Why I dont know. I really wish they would find someone perfect for Amy and Lindy.
