PR in this context does not mean "pre-release" it instead means "pull request" and it's basically a way adding features is structured in development. Whenever a feature get's developed something called a "branch" is created which is basically a way of developing that doesn't interfere with anyone else also developing the software. At the same time as that branch there is also usually a "pull request" aka "PR" created. Once the developer is done with the feature they can use the PR to merge the branch into the actual software. So PR's are basically ways of keeping track of what gets added to the program, and separating it easily. Usually on PRs in the comments you mostly want the main person working on them to post changes and for people who can review them to report bugs, so people complaining about stuff like not liking a logo clogs it up and is not what PRs are for. Like he said keep stuff like that to reddit, twitter etc. and don't clog up the PR's replies like that since it makes it annoying to follow actual changes.
The PR itself was mainly also to fix some bugs with the logo not displaying correctly on android.

They definitely need to remove the dot. Also personally I prefer the filled triangles over the outlines, as they create a nice slick kinda crystal look to the logo. I think the font is fine other than the dot tho. It looks clean and cute

i like I liked it one thing I wanted was to be able to better manage the beatmap collections I have to add to the collection one by one.
There is a program that does this but it is in the osu standard.

hey im sure you've already seen but the new logo actually got updated a bit. the u width was reduced to make the right half look less barren and the dot in the o was increased in size to match the exclamation mark's dot (so theres fewer unique elements to make it look less noisy).
that being said, it still looks a bit too clean and boring.
