Sorry, deleted my comment. I really enjoyed your video. In short, my laziness probably saves me from getting sucked into trends (I'm not lazy regarding work, however). Although, I never followed them. The thing that's missing for many people is contentment. They should be using their time to find ways to grow rather than running after the latest, greatest things.

Thanks so much for watching. It can be exhausting trying to keep up with trends!

Tech pro here. Regarding device upgrades, this year (2024) the tech companies are expecting people to upgrade to access the latest AI features on phones, particularly Apple (iPad/iPhone) and Google (Pixel phone/tablet). I would advise against upgrading this year. Instead give it another year or so to allow these new features to bed in. Many of the Ai features are gimmicks, wait for the true productivity benefits to be realized before wasting money on upgrades. I'm still using a Google Pixel 4 as my phone, I've had no reason to upgrade to Pixel 8.

It really triggers my stubbornness if media, people or corperations are telling me what I should believe or buy. It makes me do or believe the opposite of what I am supposed to.
    It`always been like this. 🙂

These fridge and pantry videos are just for show. Unless they live alone and are obsessive, these people's storage doesn't look like this either.

The clubcard price is a rip off. The product is usually hyped up with the option of "clubcard price" which is actually the normal price. Can't believe so many people have fallen for it - it's a legalised scam.

    1. People have different diets, for example I can easily get through a bunch of lemons in a week, they’re a regular purchase for me. I have also never had to worry about berries going out of date, half the time they don’t even make it to the fridge. I’m sure there are families out there that operate similarly. Not everyone is surviving off a jacket potato with baked beans and a tiny side of limp lettuce for their ‘balanced diet’.
    2. The juice/milk etc all have ‘consume within x days of opening’ so what does it matter if it’s in the original or glass container after that?
    3. The Home Edit? Girl you can get the same containers in B&M from £1.50

Absolutely, every family is different. We wouldn’t get through a large storage box of lemons but maybe another family would do so. The juice reference was regarding when you mix multiple cartons into a container - then you’re topping up the container with newer juice with the old. And if the container is full and you have some left in the new pack, where does the pack go so it doesn’t ruin the fridge aesthetic. It’s great there are bargain options!

Great video Vicky! I'm not the mobile phone company's favourite customer at all!!!...I haven't "upgraded" my mobile for 5 years, it still works, still takes decent pic's, was very inexpensive to start with compared to Apple phones etc (it's a Sony android phone) and I have just changed my provider to Lebara who do a rolling contract 3gb for £4.40 pcm (also 5 months at £2 pcm) the battery life is still very good and it does everything I want it to. So ok I don't take millions of selfies, play loads of games, or check my socials every 5 minutes, but do you really need to do all this time wasting stuff?? .....Just saying!🤗
