Their songs have at least 3 layers of voices & harmonies, & vocal runs riff etc Most of EXO MVs is hard to digest because its not relatively reflect the story of their songs hahaha.. But their ballad songs MVs have more story (Miracle of December, Universe)
they're originally 12 members but since 3 of them left, they're officially 9 members but 1 member is inactive since he has a thriving solo career in China. they usually promote as 8 members. if you see less than 8 members, it means some are doing their military service.

EXO K did songs albums in korean n EXO M made into those chinese mandarin earlier mvs if u see those are titeled as EXO K or EXO M same song but in two language ... But the time 2014 - 2015 in the peak of their career three chinese members left the group filing lawsuits against SM .. their reasons for leaving is they overworked schedules ,company's mistreatments ,injuries with no time to heal... Leaving EXO 12 to Nine..since 2015 EXO is nine members group they only do now korean versions but they stills do albums title tracks in both languages not the entire albums in.chinese mandarin... Zhang yixing aka Lay Zhang is the only remaining chinese member of EXO now but he is inactive with EXO sinhala 2017 coz political restrictions between two countries Lay is huge Cpop soloist of china and he is the ambassador for the chinese youth .. coz it's impossible to promote with EXO ..he didn't renewed his contract with SM ..he left SM 2022 but he is not declared his departure from EXO . So he is admitting stills he is part of EXO .. You can watch how he is huge artist with his new mv called Kai tian by Lay zhang ... EXO is haitus as a group since 2019 they were started their mandatory military service ..members are in and out for their service meanwhile they promotes their solo stuffs, acting or modeling careers ... six members are already done with thir service currently EXO youngest duo kai and sehun 8n their service kai will be done with his service this february and sehun will come in september this year.. they will do their full group comeback ,world tour ,,concerts in this year end ...
