Very impressive. I LOVE mine but don't get 100 miles. 60-80 depending on how I drive, terrian, weather, etc. And 95 eco score? Teach me Obi Won! Cheers from Cali! 8)
I just bought a 2018 Smart EV..and I have to go 185 kms...I think I will have to stop three times to charge..I took it for test today (was 8 degrees C) and I was doing 13-14.5 kwh/100km..on the high way at 85-90 KPH it seemed to get 1% per km or close to it...I hope all goes well....
it's been 2 years since your comment so i'm sure by now you reallized that highway speeds are terrible for the smart, try to keep it at 85km/h max, ideally 80km/h for best highway range
@@michaelpetrisor71 Oh ya, I have had this car, 3 BMWi3's a Volt, Kia Soul electric, and now a VW ID4 and so have lots of experience...and yes you are correct, mainly a city car..I sold because it really suffered in the winter...I would get about 100 kms range on a full charge in the summer but that would fall to about 65-80 in the winter.
At winter time at -20C that would likely drop to 80 km or lower doing the same route. That would be barely my daily commute. Would stick to gas Smart for a while longer, until ForTwo is released with 120 km range in worst case scenario.
What a great alternative to using public transport, cos if you stick with petrol thats were you will be in 2040! I bet Ford had the same problems when he started, what 6mph and I can only go a few miles and have to stand behind that man with a Red Flag....
Thanks for taking the time and doing this video !
I made 150km average speed 55km/h battery 2%

What information is contained in that video (besides the one in the headline)?
What was the average speed? 50 km/h or lower?
33 km/h (you have info about it on the movie) - most of the time I was in a city.

But in ECO
what's the range after 2 and 3 yrs
ruclips.net/video/ZdJFzMPrU9E/видео.html Test nach 100000 km, 3 Jahre
Good but you never went uphill.. that should be considered according to which city you live in
Yes, but after uphill you have downhill and... recuperation. It will be pretty much the same with electric car.
My average energy usage over the first 5000 km on my 50 km daily commute is 25kWh/100km. So not much more than 80 km range in Canadian winter.
If you don't drive in eco way and you have to heat the interior of the car it is possible.
