The word "fight" is a general term like in fighting cancer, fighting hunger or throwing punches. Context is important especially with the English language. As far as this song goes, it is used to convey my feeling of the need for people, media and politicians to stop playing games with people's heads, stop lying, stop taking things out of context. In this song it is used to have people have conversations/debates on our differences, to speak up and tell the truth, to stop the insults, to negotiate compromise, to vote. Most people are passive, they keep their head down and about 40% of Americans don't vote in the elections and when they get something or someone they don't like, they just complain. I guess this song is my way to tell people to stop complaining and do something about it, be the solution not the problem, the people have the power to make change for the good but choose not to use it.
