Because when I had voice training, my teacher taught us the correct way to sing so as not to injure the vocal cords. Most people sing improperly which wouldn't matter if you weren't trying to sing for a profession (where you need to hold concerts and sing frequently) but if you sang improperly for a long period of time and continuously injured the vocal cords, it can make even talking hurt. It might be a work in progress to a higher level where her singing will become even better. But like I said, I'm just guessing.

I remember watching bits of Victorious here and there and Ariana's character Kat, in my opinion was my favorite singer on the show, with Jade being the second. I started really following her music career towards the end of her being on Nickelodeon shows so I knew she was an amazing singer and i knew the world would love her but i didnt expect her to be this huge even though I knew she was destined for greater things than she was involved with during this time of her life. Anyways, I'm proud of her; keeping shining that light of yours girlie.

She said in an interview that the red hair dye she was using for Victorious made her hair fall out and so she has to now use extensions.
The reason she always wears the same hairstyle is because (as xoxoaudrey said) her red hair-dye made her hair fall out. The only way to hide her hair extensions was to put half of her hair up.
Yeah, its pretty.. but unfortunately all her hair fell out from dying it.. :/ so now she wears fake hair so she can't change it often.

Kinda bothers me how drastic a change this is.. She was a little plumper and wayyyyyy lighter… now she's the color of a churro and is stick thin… if I didn't know who Ariana grande was I would say that show a total different person doesn't even look a pinch the same as when she was younger and here her voice is genuine… it bothers me so much
Emani Nunez well she is vegan and her dance routines have become more energetic so rehearsals and stuff probably caused her to lose weight. The tan may not be her choice, it could be that when she's getting her makeup done they just tan her too without really asking her if its ok. Her voice is even better now, you should see her latest cover of "I Have Nothing" on her Honeymoon tour
