Seeing losses is a good thing because it shows that you're actually fighting difficult opponents and that it's not a 100% chance to win. It puts some extra anticipation/interest on top of the already amazing gameplay.

Yeah, this is my position. A close fought win might be the most fun to watch, but I'd prefer a loss to an easy win where it just feels like the opponent is outclassed.

The fact that you lose games and we see the losses makes the games more interesting because even if we think you'll win, we know you might lose because you show the games come what may. Keeps the intensity high.

I'm one of the ppl who like the losses, even in my own games. You learn way more from a hard fought loss than pretty much any other game.
Obviously there are exceptions, some games are just hilarious to watch win or lose and I do want to see you actually get to do burrow roach again, I think that build has a lot of potential.

I think watching you lose can be fun because of your demeanour tbh. You always take it very well, which sort of teaches (the many of us with poorer coping skills) maybe what losing should look like. You always provide a breakdown, and the reasons seem very clear to you, in a way that to the viewer they just can't because our level of experience is lower. So maybe it wasn't a meme comment, saying people prefer seeing you lose :P

Honestly Mark I think your potential maxed out zerg mmr is predicated on 4 things... Playing on a barcode, refining build orders (cheese or proxy or whatever), actually spreading creep in the terran and protoss matchups and more significantly thinking about the ZvZ matchup . If you got that down I think you could comfortably break 6K-6.3K because I think for all the tomfoolery and self-inflicted baboon descriptors you do have a high level of micro, unorthodox tactics and to be frank I think you could also look for inspiration from chaos lords like bly or miomaika and adapt it to your own style and do well. There is definitely a style of Zerg that can use 2-3 bases to pump units and trade efficiently if not outright kill opponents outright. But as you are now probably 5-5.5K if the people know who you are and know you don't spread creep, reliably proxy, 2 base all in, over scout with overlords etc... There seems a lot there that could be punished by someone who knows who you are... So it really depends on how invested you are in maxing your zerg mmr... I'll watch no matter what because I think mass dropper lords and the ultra rush is some of the funniest shit Ive ever seen.

8:40 loses are very important as they make every game an unknown, anyone can win so it's entertaining. If you know every game is a win then it takes away from experience.
If there is a story and you know main char can't die then it takes away from the stakes, that's why rare deaths of main cast in any story are so important as in every danger you root for the heroes to win and not die. Plot armor works against the viewer's experience.

First game, mutats is a good strategy for defense, but he was expanding and htus it would be endless, so yo uwould need extremely effecient trades to exand out or roaches, but mutats provide protection, but without cheaper ground units... Roaches range 3, is pretty week, hydras are a better wall defence method, becasue of their 5/6 range... and allow you to also go into lurkers, so as yo uget or would have had atleast 14 hydras... two coudl of gone into being lurkers which would of sealed the death against lings.. and bannelings... other cheap alterantives is banneling and burrow defence ratehr then spire.. if you know they are ling flooding, you burrow bannelings infront of wall if you can and behind and when they flood in, you ignite them, but I dont htink they one shot lings any more... Best unit in this siutation imo, is hydras and hten lurkers with significant ammoutn of lings also.. and nydus.... Typically when someone is rushing you in z v z... nydus is super useful... for counter attacking nad being able to get back to defend.. just because of how zerg can expand... there was a 15 second delay between ling waves is the wave you thought you recovered but he was most liekly droning in that period... a forward macro hatchery is probably considered a good idea.. macro hatches are good in z verse z, because its larva dependent, and if your defending or spreading your larva can fall behind... z v z is larva and timing... peopel always that have in experience think a zerg is all inning if they are attacking... This is not the case.. If zerg has two bases, or three bases the attack is not an all in, its simply a threshold attack... in which they cna trasnition out of and be on a blanaced side, but as zerg it provides a possible win... 6 queens would of been ideal also.... meaning you keep producing queen after queen while walling, would of been better then mutats, the problem with mutas is that the spire costs.. way to much for other units that are more valuable..
    So a side story...
El cid mission in aoe2, For Valencia - where you need ot defend a onder on hard mode, campaign.
THis mission can appear hard to win, if you are used to simply advnacing up to more powerful units... but there is called a threshold of units... in a timing system. So the easiest way ot win the mission is actually just build workers and spam units... calvary then every trying to get to imperial age or upgrade the units... is reach your pop cap and then upgrade the units, the campaign is extremely easy in/ on hard mode... Without any exploits..
Why is that... If you advance to imperial age, that is about 13 units of value being knights. If you upgrade things you don't need that further removes a unit from your overall pool... There has ot be vlaue on it... Lings however, always have immedaitely value from higher attack damage, because their quantity is always vast. So a spire presents time, walling off with evos presents time, but you need ot exchange that time effeciently where the buildings are just not spam but punishing him, per engagement, this is where having 6-12 queens would of been better. and a macro hatch over a spire and even getting a lair yet. I would of probably made more queens, made sure I had full saturation etc... and pumping out queens and generating larva... marco hatch, as a side ramp block so I can also evo the top.. and consider taking the gold away for expanding laterally, when I have enough defence... sadly... one queen just wouldn't do it... 1k minerals is about 7 queens.. which is a significant power and healing base, and can easily deal with 20- 30 ling waves. allowing a transition into lair and hten hydras into lurkers, but not lurker spam simply punihsing defence... So in defending you want to make your opponent pay.. the evo walls gave you time, but didn't really punish the ling player becuase of a lack of damage output by you... Also you cna use spine and spore crawlers as walling units in moving... SO when you punish the opponenet for attacking tpyically you should have more units... Since hte mutas are being used defensively... its not a surprise and the ling flood should never stop... its nto an all in, its onyl an all in or time baed attack if its a single non expanding zer,g but how zerg works is you ahve ot expand to be larva effecient, so two base zerg is limited in production of larva.. so if you are a two base zerg, or one base you would still need a macro hatch, but at that point you woul djust build it near the mineral line... so yo ucan produce units faster... That is am ain difference in zerg is your production line is your mineral line, so zerg expanding is a need to make hatcheries. before queen larva.. 10 hatcheries was a norm, and used for creep spread also, or well spine crawlers used to have creep expand from them I think... in sc1... long time ago.. so zerg was like a build class that forced you to build colonies to expand creep, that served both as defensive nad productive units, to build on, very different then other races.. where its more of a choice, zerg if needing building space would build spine crawlers ot expand creep. So attackig into zerg always meant they had defense. That isn't the norm anymore.. so... meh...
Anyways I think you got ocnfused in what an all in is... building or expanding as a zerg isn't an all in, its simply hatching up to produce more, of whatever it is.. its like building a barracks... but with te added bonus it serves as also a rss place ot gather materials. SO the largest error in most peopel playing zerg is that they play liek terran onyl building hatcheries when expanding. Nonsense... Dark often builds a reserve hatchery on teh flank, which allows him ot produce from it like a macro hatch, larva need, and also, if the terran or opponenet push in, they nca trasnfer the drones when spotted on teh creep and rotate the workers so the loss mining time is really like .. travel time to the far side hatchery... with little ot zero losses of your drone count, while you roate your army ot push out hte terran, and hten you rebuild that hatchery...
Unlike the other races where, building a cc is a mild punish and cost. Nexus is a high punishment ot cost ratio... building a hatchery has no punishment as zerg it simply is a need... so three hatcheries isn't greedy persay, unless your z verse z.. .then mirroring your opponenent is typically needed... yeah... nice try, but takes too long for air ot get up as z verse z to be effective on the immediacy of defence.. so in this scenario.. ending up with 12 queens als othen helps against.. if they muta attack and cna help spread creep faster, but having lings around is always useful for burrow scouting and lurkers etc... if you went. lair, to hive ot infestor.. for fungal.. it would of been massive, and interesting defence... but mutas.. are realyl good surprise unit,.
Alterantively you didn't lose until you wanted ot counter attack you could of justdefending with mutas and then piloted on the ground to take map control... giving you time as he lairs up and builds somethign of air unit ,but most zerg, will have one spore unit... by six minutes... atleast... as soon as air is seen its spore, and tpiycally more queens...
Mass queen defenc,e into nydus queen push... probably the best counter.. use... with maybe roaches in behind or hydras... but meh.
