Because I am adopted, when we had our son 11 years ago, he was the first person related to me by blood I had ever laid my eyes on. It was the most incredible thing that has ever happened to me. This song brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it. Thank you so much for this very powerful song Armin.

Seeing how the father is teaching his son how to ride a bike was just... ...beautiful Maybe thats only a big thing in the Netherlands (where I live), but I wonder how many parents (especially dads) have learnt their kids to ride a bike without help and feeling the happyness of their kids and afterwards realising that it was a step towards their kids growing up and becoming more and more independent. I bet my father did that some twelve odd years ago. It must be a bittersweet sadness that you as a parent know that your children inevitably are going to leave and build a life of their own. I will remember this song if the time comes and it's my turn to learn my child to ride a bike alone.
I lost my dad 12 years ago when I was 17, last month I also lost my mom. They both had lung cancer. I’m 29 years old and I got no parents anymore. Everytime I hear ‘’my wild wild son, run free”, I can’t stop crying.
