I've played rugby in 2 feet of snow and I felt pretty warm once my adrenaline was going. But I'm not gonna lie, I was freezing my ass off during stretches and drills.
You're right but i think the problem comes when the players get on the sidelines and don't get the body heat from playing
Epicsir v yeah, I mean I've been there too and it sucks, just put that jacket over your shoulder and wait for switches. In rugby its pure starters the whole match unless someone gets hurt. Which is nice for me because I don't really take time out, but yeah you're right.
I used to play rugby in New Zealand in the cold I played full back and there was a lot of standing around being freezing
Daxxter {} I was a winger and inside center and the cold wasn't nice but then you get to a point where you cant feel anything once you start rolling.

2 more games at their division rivals. 49ers and rams and usually 2 more games in the south and it’s only cold in November’s and December and if they make it to the playoff. One game cause they are shit and Larry will retire in one or two more seasons.

As someone who played football in college in MN, as long as your hands/feet/ head is warm you’ll be ok running around. You are generating so much heat and your focus is elsewhere that it doesn’t bother you too much. Usually it’s when you stand on the sideline that to cold really bothers you.

It was very disappointing how it turned out to be just the clothing. I thought they’d show the special heaters on the sidelines and whatnot. This video was stupid.
Grew up in central NY and played FB through college graduation - never found it to be an issue to have to play in the cold - even in the 20 degree days. What I hated was wet and cold together - typical November Friday night lights in HS would be low 30s, rain and muddy turf. Luckily, I played both offense and defense, as well as special teams, so I rarely came off the field. When I did get on the sidelines, I vividly remember tugging at my jersey, watching the collected steam, from the sweat and body heat, drift past my face... you’d have thought it was my breath, as it would just radiate from between my jersey and shoulder pad neck roll.... ahhh those were the days👍

If you warm up right, you should be good. One day last year, my team played in San Francisco and it was probably in the 20s-30s, and it felt good to be playing because you weren't cold in your core. However, getting hit really hurt because my outside was cold. As long as the core is warm, you'll be good💯
