    nylon makes the ski static, horsehair do not. that's why the horsehair has to be the last brush you use. static skis are slower

    so do you have to remove the old wax each time before you put a new coat on? or do you just keep adding more layers on top?

    I'm a die hard SWIX man, so I use BP88 for my hot wax.

    Whats a good hot scrape wax to use for the initial step? I have Zum Universal for the last step on hand.

      theskyisthelimit something that is good quality as in toco were Swick's for example and not too expensive because it's just a cleaning process
