My teenage son had a dental surgery in October 2022 triggering a rare autoimmune disease we didn't know he had (GPA Vasculitis). This caused bleeding in his lungs which ultimately impacted many organs but damaged his lungs to an irreparable point. He recently had a double lung transplant in May 2023. He has given me permission to share his story ❤️

I donated and sent some love from Lonnie’s Amazon list. I EXPECTED it to go to Lonnie! I am not sure where those with issues think it should go? Best or worst- it was always for Lonnie.
You are so transparent no-one should be disappointed in how the money is being spent. Go make as many memories as possible while Lonnie Jr is able to enjoy them. Hopefully he will make a full recovery and not need another transplant for many years but your whole family has been through this journey with him although the smaller children luckily don't realise how ill Lonnie was. I had a brain aneurysm when I was 35 and somehow survived. My mother took me to Disney two weeks after I was released. She picked up the celebration buttons and wrote "Today we are celebrating... LIFE" on our pins. I still have them and they mean everything. Enjoy the trip.

No problem here. I donated in case you needed the financial support. I'm thrilled that you get to use the funds for a family vacation. Go make those memories!! You need some great ones to override the tough ones. I'd much rather that then for a big final send off for Lonnie Jr. 😊 Although you should be able to apply the money however you and Lonnie Jr see fit, I understand your need to be transparent. That certainly helps slow down the rumor mill.

You are a wonderful Mum. It’s extremely hard on your family to watch Lonnie go through a DLTX. I’m very lucky that I live in Australia and the government paid for my transplant. The health system is very different over here. I also have a son who has Autism so we have a few things in common. Your holiday plans sound wonderful! I’m sure you and the kids will have a fantastic time. 🌹

I’m so sorry that you are having to explain how you are doing your finances, I donated because I was giving y’all a gift: I feel that a gift can be used how you want with no recourse taken, you are a terrific mom and I’m not worried about how you want to handle your finances, that is your private business. You are correct about 1 thing, it IS your job to support your family. This means, using your children to provide you an income is not you supporting your children. Showing them on social media is exploitation, it is expecting them to work and support you and themselves. Sharing their personal stories to the world is NOT teaching awareness, it is exploitation. It is sharing personal information that is not your right to share, these younger kids are not able to give informed consent.
Can I ask why you even watched this video then if it was of zero concern to you? This is what most of us want is to hear others story's as every autistic child is different,iv even started making my own videos to show how my son is too,if you had any idea how hard it is to get your child assessed then you would appreciate these videos alot more as gives tips and ideas,grow up and if you don't like them don't watch them simple as that
@@Autismfamilymacrid what makes you think I watched? My concern is for the child being exploited for views and money. It is possible to tell your story, to educate WITHOUT showing the child or giving out their personal information without informed consent. Why does my opinion matter to you?
Oh not that your opinion matters, my 1st son died from MS and my 2nd son is autistic, my daughter has Downs. Never once considered filming them for comments, views or money. But if you don't care about their privacy, then go ahead its not illegal YET.

Whoever gives you any grief is crazy! First of all, only parents with A LOT of children know that it is not easy to travel with children. It’s hard, so I know you’re doing this for the love of your children. You’re amazing, and it warms my heart to know your babies are going to have an amazing time together as a family. Life could’ve been so different for you all, so YES LIVE IT UP!!! And make every moment count.
I donated and tbh I don’t care where the money goes, It’s not like you’re using the money to live lavishly or just using it on yourself. People shouldn't give money if they can't handle the fact that they don't get to micromanage how it is spent. Once it's donated it isn't their money anymore. Now if you were scamming people saying you had a sick kid when you didn't that would be one thing, but that is obviously NOT what's happening here.

we all make decisions with the information we have at hand. we react and respond as we know whats going on. We adjust and move on as it progresses. in the future knowing you ( as far as i know) you will pay it forward in your own way, shape and form. You have never to my knowledge ever been selfish in nature.

A transplant of any sort is serious! It means that the patient may not make it through it. You said the money was for lonnie for what whatever he wanted to spend it on from the first time you sent it up.

Wondering how you are and how your health is? I came across your health video from a year or two past recently and never heard an update.
I am doing better than last summer! It's still a little hit and miss but I am trying to lose weight right now to improve my health.
Use the gofundme money for whatever you like. I’m just sorry that life saving surgery and ventilators are cripplingly expensive in the states, and has the potential to change a family’s fortune so drastically.
It wasn’t the surgery cost that created such an issue, that was paid for but it is the time I was away from work which would happen in any country unfortunately

I guarantee the people who are complaining and trying to bring you down, most likely were not the ones who actually donated. Some people are so dissatisfied with their own lives that they feel the need to try and drag others down with them. So you know my daughter is a single mom and to a child who is on the ASD . We have 1 car and it's hers. We bought it used. It's a 2005 Cadillac and we fill like the couple that sold it to us knew it was messing up. Took it to the shop last week to find it has blown head gaskets. Nobody wants to fool with it They say it's more costly to fix it than it's worth. So I have a channel that hasn't been growing too well. Do you think it bad of her to start a Go Fund me for that? Nothing to get rich on but to pay off the loan of the car so she can trade it in. Please advise me on this. Don't feel bad to say no Thank you

I have question for you over lung transplant. What happen if you have chest infection you dont get medication for it can it lead to lung rejection or lung damage from it if left untreated?
An untreated chest infection can get very bad for someone with transplanted lungs. The infection itself would likely keep getting worse and if not kill them, at least cause serious damage, yes. The infection would always be treated, to avoid that

Not saying that i don't understand why the trip/car was wanted, but you should go to loonie sr first, he is responsible for his kids, then if the help he gave you wasn't enough, then you should reach out to fans
