Wonderful! It's always a beautiful thing when a silent film, long believed lost, is rediscovered and restored. Incidentally, young actor Raymond McKee (Davy Balfour) had been a childhood playmate of actress Marguerite Courtot, who carved out quite a career as a leading lady at Kalem Films. The year following the making of "Kidnapped" saw McKee and Courtot reunited, as adults, on the set of "The Unbeliever"; by the time they worked together again, in 1922's "Down to the Sea in Ships", the childhood friendship had ripened into a love affair that led to a marriage lasting almost 60 years. They are buried together at California's Riverside National Cemetery (thanks to McKee's military status as a U.S. Veteran). Now, THAT'S a Hollywood Love Story!

Karen, Thank you. I might have skipped over this movie had it not been for you posting your recollection.
