Thank you so much for doing this video! I kept searching for this video and NO ONE else has done this comparison! Which really surprised me. I found it very surprising that the flexstyle isn't a lot lighter! I'll be going with the hyperair for the bigger diffuser then.

I loved my Dyson, but bought the Shark & a year later I dusted off my Dyson and sold it. I love the shark so much. I bought the flex styler! It's so much easier for travel. And I use it to hover diffuse the roots while I pixie the ends.

When I tested the heat in both they get to a similar point on each setting low is up to 180° and high gets up to 250° which was actually hotter than I measured the Dryer at…not an exact science on those…but used the same infrared thermometer.
By the way…the black orchid fits on the FlexStyle. 😊

I kinda like the smaller diffuser. I own the Hyperair and I find the diffuser to be a bit big and cumbersome. The Hyperair is a little heavy & I wish the cold shot button would stay on & get cooler. I like the Hyperair compared to my old Remington, that’s for sure. 😂 The Flex design is pretty cool & would be great for travel.

@@fatimam7753 Hi! So I actually ended up getting the hyper air with the "round brush", diffuser, and the focused dryer attachments. My hair is thick and wavy so I figured I would still need a hot tool of some sort to fully style it. I also never like the way a blowout looks on me so I straighten or curl/wave my hair. I still really like the hyper air and think it's great. I went back and forth a lot before buying one and ultimately, I thought the flex styler would take too long to dry and style my hair and wasn't confident it would give me the "polished" look like it does in everyone's videos. Good luck making your final choice! I feel like you can't go wrong with either one. 🥲
