I loved watching your demo ! And, I picked up some cool new techniques. But, the remarkable thing is that I felt so much better after watching your demo than before it started. I'm sure it was your talent that earned you the invitation to be a Daniel Smith Ambassador. But it's your warmth and humility that make you an Ambassador in the best sense of the word. Thank you for making a difference in my day!
Buffy I couldn't sign up for your newsletter because I didn't find the link. Could I please ask you to forward it to me? I would be truly grateful. I work kinda close to Fallbrook and hope to one day take a live class with you. I don't know how to paint, but in the next few days, I plan to paint washes and learn how to use my brushes. I'm very excited. I'll also be watching my new Mission Gold Watercolors tomorrow...so excited. K
So grateful to John, Katherine, Ethel and all those who joined us for Live with John Cogley. I hope today’s painting exudes the joy and happiness I feel becoming a Brand Ambassador for DANIEL SMITH: Artists' Materials and being invited to share my love of color as a guest artist in today’s demo. -𝒶𝓇𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝓈𝒽𝒶𝓇𝑒𝒹
Hi Janet, I edit my photography in Photoshop selecting the shapes I would like to use as a stencil and erasing the background, then save it as a JPEG file, load it into the Cricut Maker Design Center and the Cricut Maker then cuts the stencil out. I use Grafix Matte Stencil blanks and the Deep Cut Blade on the Cricut. You can also use the stencil blanks, draw your stencil design directly on them and then cut the shapes out manually with scissors or a razor knife.
What an amazing demonstration of some very unique and very interesting techniques. Just beautiful and so fascinating. Thank you.

With respect to the stencils and Cricut, many public libraries have Cricuts that you can use for a very small rental fee.
Oh I did not know this thank you so much for sharing, this is great news!

Wow, sorry I missed this live. How do you make your own stencils???
