- Last Day: Maine Snowmobiling Eagle Lake 3-2-23 Day 5 of 5
This was a very snowy day and I was not able to get all day footage but I got plenty to wrap up this 5 day trip to Maine.

Nice video! What a great trip for you, thanks for sharing. Hope to get up there soon. See you on the trail.
Thanks Jeff! Your welcome and thanks for watching. I hope to get up there again myself.
Trails look great
Thanks Mike. They were fantastic all week long. I'm hoping to get back there this season.
Hey Buddy...thanks for the video. @23:00 I had a rock break my carbide on the trail and none of the tools in the 'Ski-doo' tool kit will remove the carbide so I had to ride with it in two pieces spraying snow everywhere. I've since added the proper tool which is a 10mm 1/4 inch drive deep.
That sucks. Thanks for the info Todd. That could come in handy. Thanks for watching.
Glad you guys finally made it up to Eagle Lake and Aroostook County. That place is the best. Now your spoiled. 😂
Thanks. Yes, it was a great time!!
Great video and adventure series brother!
Thank you and thanks for watching Rdobbs!
Looks like a great time.
It absolutely was and I hope to do it again sooner than later.
Thanks for watching.
Coming soon ! Nice riding Paiste !
Can't wait! Thanks dooby!
I'm at the Toronto Snowmobile show right now.
@@Paisteboy Have fun in Canada Paiste !
Maybe RainX the Wind Shields !
I might try that on a day like this one was. Thanks for watching.
It was a great trip for sure. Lots of memories.
Yes indeed! There was so much footage that I watched but didn't include or the video would have been 3 hours long, but we had some great conversations on the trail side.
Maybe we'll ride again Brad.
Thanks for watching.
I hear ya on all of the footage. I hate to miss anything so I end up leaving the cameras rolling.
Yup! It's way too much but you'll miss the best stuff when you're not filming.
Thanks for watching.
Our crew were up there that same week, prob crossed paths at some point. This snowy day we went to Loring AFB and also struggled keeping the shields clear. Great series, see you back in the County soon!
Cool! Probably crossed paths. That was a great week of riding. I still enjoyed the last day heavy snow and all. Absolutely great trails there!
Thanks for watching. Be back in States tomorrow.
The new Ski-Doo helmet with the peak is so much better looking than the bowling ball .
Buy one!
Thanks for watching Jeff.
How fast were you guys traveling? It looks amazing! I have a new destination, thank you for sharing
Our speed veried from trail to trail and day to day. On the longer wider trails we would go between 50 and 80 mph and slower on shorter narrower trails. There is no speed limit in Maine so there were times I had it over 100 mph on the right trail.
Maine is definitely worth the trip. Best riding of my life!
Thanks for watching.
Paiste Tug Hill and Old Forge will never be the same now you’ve been spoiled lol . The same thing happened to me here in Southern Ontario once I rode up North
Yes. Maine is definitely on another level!
Thanks for watching.
That guy takes his half out of the middle of the trail
Yeah, sometimes riders are oblivious of their position on the trail.
Thanks for watching.
I got my buddies to commit to Maine this ýear!! We are going the third week in feb...
What's not to like about Maine besides the drive up?
Congrats! You're going to love it. That's when we went. The only downside which is minor is that most gas pumps are old roller types and you have to go in to pay. No other downsides that I can think of.
Been terrific to follow your Maine trip and see it conclude with excellent day of riding. You mentioned a shock rebuild. Is this a 3,000 mile maintenance item or tuning preference?
No. It's just that shocks usually need to be rebuild at approximately 2000 miles give or take and I noticed that I was able to hit anything in comfort mode the first season and part of the second season but I could feel the difference by the end of the Maine trip. They were still performing very well but I had to use sport mode.
Thanks for watching. I still have a couple more rides to post from last season in New York state before we start riding this season.
Use rain x on your visor
I'll have to try that. Thanks for watching.
Hey Paiste will you go back to the GoPro camera ? I find this camera your using strange to watch. Is it just me ?
Probably won't go back to gopro. I was recording with both cameras almost the entire time but I really like the versatility if the 360 cam. Plus the gopro was iced over almost this whole day and I wouldn't have had very much viewable footage had I not had the 360 cam. I understand that the perspective us a bit different and isn't as clear as the gopro but we'll see what I try next season as synchronizing the 2 cameras was very difficult and time consuming to edit. I appreciate your feedback and will consider it.
Thanks for watching.
Have a link for that 360 cam?
What mount?
Check the link in the description to my Amazon page. The 360 x3 cam should be in there and the mount is the insta360 motorcycle bundle mount.
Thanks for watching.
Did you drive the canada route
Yes. We cut through Canada to save 2 hours. It will take a couple extra hours anyway for all of the gas fill up stops.
Curious to know how much fuel and oil you went through across the entire trip?
I think it was about 2 and a half gallons of oil, but even though I have the gas receipts I never calculated how much it was. Probably used 50 gallons of gas. We ended up with 820 miles total in 5 days. We could have done more but all days were great days! No rushing to leave in the morning. Everyone was very patient with each other and it made for a very relaxing week.
Nice. Do you plan on going back there again soon @@Paisteboy

We don't have anything planned at this point but it might be a possibility sometime in March.
