- Listen up gang, we have two additions joining in on your next heists. Joy makes a return to PAYDAY as the groups' hacker, while Pearl brings a new flair of magnificence to the team. Play as either of these heisters at the launch of PAYDAY 3 on September 21.

Joy and Pearl look really well in the new engine and their VA's seem to have done a wonderful job, hope to see more sick stuff OV, will definitely be joining for the beta

I love how the heisters come from so many walks of life that I believe any character can be added and feel natural.

Nice to see that there's more heisters to choose from in Payday 3 but I'm surprised to see Joy coming back but I'm more interested in Pearl, nice to see a new heister can't wait to know more about her. Also I hope there will be more heisters.
There definitely will be more hiesters, and they will keep adding new things frequently like new heist and DLCs

She's a hacker, and hacking seems to be much more common in PD3. I think that was one of the reason why people thought about her.

I was really hyped for payday3 than I found out I won’t be able to play it cus it won’t be on Xbox one.

I was expecting Sydney or Clover to come back as a female heister, but Pearl looks pretty fun to play! Looking forward to playing as her.

@@dr3amless345Don't know what your settings are, but I can always hear chains say "get the fuck up" in my games and I have my music at the same as everything else. They always scream out their lines in loud heists and I can always hear Bain/Locke too which are quieter, idk how it's hard to hear unless if you're blasting the music.

@@Calcumlolnot sure about that now, in the Alaskan Deal heist in Payday 2, Locke set up the gang into an ambush of cops and escapes, so if he is in the game, then possibility of Locke becoming hostile to the gang now and we have to kill him
@@JamesieE i assume you haven't caught up to the story, The Alaskan Deal was an elaborate plan between him and Bain to get the gang out of Washington (can't say why because spoilers). Bain then reconfirms Locke's loyalty to the gang sometime later which allows him to continue working as their contractor.

Kinda sad that means no Houston at launch but, I hope we'll get most of the old characters later down the line.
Shame Dragan & Houston aren't the 2 remaining Heisters, after Dragan's VA appeared in the Do Time Trailer, and with all the Houston easter eggs in the Dev Diaries, I was convinced those two would return (maybe we'll see them return later in the DLC Life Cycle). But hey, it's cool to see Joy return, and I'm excited to see a new Heister, hopefully Pearl's VA does a good job!
Knowing the overkill team, they're probably gonna add characters like Dragan and Houston post release. Whether or not that content is free to the community will be a different issue all together
houston is my favourite character... "hey" love it.

Despite not being the best fan of Joy, I can say that she did improve a lot, mask still looks cool. And convinces me there are chances we could possibly see more heisters from Payday 2 return, my personal one I want is Sokol, but it would still be cool to see like Duke or Jiro as well
I hope we will see Sokol again, I love to play as him.

To people being surprised by joy, she was the main focus in the somewhere in mexico stuff in pd2
While Sydney may be my favorite heister that isn't of the Core four, I am glad that Joy got a better VA performance this time around.

A character I expected to be a throw away "joke" because of the switch version of the game I'm actually really happy to see is able to stick around and be a part of the crew :)

It’s sad to see that joy seemingly won’t have her iconic mask feature of mimicking every heister’s signature masks but at least in terms of lore it’s nice to see she’s finally making a name for herself and not just being a payday fangirl, she was my favorite heister in payday 2

unfortunately jacket probably won't be coming back, jacket was a crossover character, unless the licensing is renewed we probably won't see the crossover characters like jacket and jimmy

I like this trailer cos it shows how well stealth and loud can be played in one attempt, failing stealth doesnt just fail the heist.
It didn't in Payday 2 either (except for stealth only missions, that were like 10% of the game)
@@MyUsersDark it did in payday 2 if you played anything high difficulty and wanted a decent stealth build
now, weapons and armour dont affect concealment at all, so you can run whatever
@@iconbluesn5648 He's still wrong though. Failing stealth doesn't automatically fail the heist. Most people just prefer to press "restart". Heists on DSOD can be beaten at level 0 if you feel like it, but of course no-one is going to put in that effort. Even then, some loud crit builds can be forced to 4 or even 3 concealment, so you could also just stealth with a loud build and not restart.
@@MyUsersDark Yea i know, but if your running a stealth build in payday 2 you cant play a lout heist especially anything higher than normal or hard, definitely not on DSOD.

I love how they keep showing gameplay clips in these trailers where they are just standing in front of 10 cops wildly spraying dealing no dmg and likely dying 2 seconds after the clip end

Imagine putting a Nintendo switch promotion character into your new game. What kind of chicanery is this? I mean we have so many memorable (and original) heisters like Dragan, Clover, Bonnie, Houston... But no let's take fucking Joy.

Literally has a canonical story in the City of Gold, has a backstory because of that too
And is of major use to the crew as a resident Hacker when they don't got one.

Pearl gets 2 words in this entire trailer and the first time i watched it i assumed they were just joy because of how similar they sound
I'd like to see different characters brings different skills like strength, intelligent or speed. Love the trailer, music and the gameplay!

itd be cool if there were takedowns when u are behind a guard that also would have a skill that giives a chance of the takedown not needing pager and it would be the capture animation for human shield but u break the guards neck(and since the capture muffles the guard talking thats where the skill comes from)

I knew we wouldn't and probably will never get them back, but my dreams were for John Wick and Jacket. Joy makes sense to have back, as the world has gone a lot more digital in the past decade.
If another John Wick movie comes out, then it's possible. And, I'm pretty sure Dennaton would love to add chicken man back, they are very chill people

Joy has gotten a glow up, there is still a hint of previous joy but shes mature now and isn't all game talk.

ok, im not gonna lie. overkill is one of the only game companies that dosent fuck up a new game. they always make it fun, add new content thats not halfassed, adds community content, good dlc, AMAZING FUCKING CROSSOVERS, and great gameplay. We all salute to you overkill. you are the best gaming company known to man-kind. FUCK YEAH IM GETTING PAYDAY 3 WHEN THIS COMES OUT
