Just got my Y series. Haven't put a fire in it yet, but you are spot on about the quality. It's great. I'm sure I will be impressed with this once I get our first fire going! Thanks for the review.
Love your review. I am interested in this. Any thoughts on using this on a covered deck? The roof is about 8 feet above the deck surface. Just wondering how hot it would get at that distance. Thanks
Thank you for watching! I think I’d be hesitant to put it in a covered deck. It gets REALLY hot, especially when you first build the fire as the flames can come pretty far above the rim. It might be fine, but I’d worry about warping the ceiling (ours is covered with vinyl siding).
@@ReviewThisThing thanks for the reply. my cover is polycarbonate panels which are supposed to take extreme temps but i just finished building it and I wouldn't want to screw it up.
Great review! I have a customer who has one of the standard size Breeo’s and was asking about what kind of base it needed to withstand the heat. Also have another friend who is going to bring one of these on our upcoming camping trip.
Looks like a great fire pit, we have had a very dry summer, so the only fires allowed are propane fire pits. It’s okay, but you miss the smell. Thanks for sharing, be well guys.
I have the Breeo Y and regret having bought that overpriced flimsy piece of sh*#. And yes, Breeo's cheap 304 stainless starts rusting after a few burns. With hot fires in the chamber the stainless looses its rust preventing feature. Breeo downplays that but gives you only a 5 year warranty against rusting through. When I mentioned that under their youtube-videos, they deleted my comments 😄 When mentioning that under the top-list videos of an supposingly independent vlogger (Break it yourself / The Barbecue Lab), who to my believe gets his Breeos from Breeo for free, it was also deleted there. Very independent. 😄😄 Breeo's way of dealing with criticism is very un-American.
Oh wow. So far we haven’t seen that problem, but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out. If something changes, we’ll do a follow up. Thank you for that info. And thank you for watching.

Ah. Probably a good idea.
Nice!! I love cooking over a open fire so I'll definitely keep this in mind!
We’ve definitely been loving it!
Have you ever checked out the Snowpeak takibi firepit? If also has the Floga smokeless accessory available 🔥👍
I haven't. I haven't even heard of that one.

Thanks, Marc! Breeo does sale a stand in their website, but I’m sure an elevated block type base would do. I think you’re going to enjoy it! Have fun.
Thanks
