Khamzat is 12-0 and took a year off. Let’s see him get to 24-0. If he does then he will be one of the greats. He’ll have to go through Kamara, Strickland, Bo, Whitaker, DDP, maybe Cannonier, Vetori, Paul Craig and of course Izzy. But you got to fight more than 1 time a year especially when you are young.
The dagestanis won't fight until next year most likely because they're not allowed to enter the US while the russia war is ongoing. They went to visit Kadyrow, the chechen state leader and took photos with him and with weapons so there's probably a travel ban on their heads in place.

It’s so weird how much more I like and appreciate Kamaru after he lost the belt.. it’s almost like he’s just himself now and doesn’t have to do any extra shit or put on a show or anything and I just like him more now. The only thing I disagree with from Makhachev is the logic that because he defends the belt against the FW champ that he should get a shot at the WW champ. Volk got the champ-champ shot because he wasted everyone in line at FW, we need some title defenses against LW contenders before he goes up.

Very excited for the first ever rematch between two current champions. Islam and Alex are making history. Kamaru is Khamzat's toughest challenge in his career and he shouldn't overlook him. The press conference is missing the rest of the main card but it was plenty entertaining with these four.
