I have listened to aksharamanamalai everyday for the last 2 years. I don't understand tamil but I can't stop myself from listening to it. Bhagavan himself said once that some force within him made him to write this. It is as powerful as Bhagavad gita!
So lovely!In case you want a good translation, the Ashram sells translation by Robert Butler which I find very good. I am a native speaker but some of the words are not commonly used and I refer to this book which has the detailed commentary by Mahakavi Murugunar translated by Mr. Butler. The meaning is so very beautiful

We have attended Bhagavan's Centenary celebrations and participated the Girivalam with you all I studied in Madurai Engg. College between 1966 and 1971 . We started Satsangs at Sri Ramana Mandhiram on Thursdays with the blessings of Poojyasri Swami Ramananda and Swami Vimalanda and all devotees. Sri N. Somasundaram of Madurai Sri Ramana Mandhiram is my cousin. My father, Sri P.V.Ramakrishnan was brother of Sri Somasundaram and we are related to respected president of Sri Ramanashramam. Ian now 72 yrs, and because of age related , living near our daughter's house in Chennai. My wife,Smt. I never understood one thing. Why did Bhagavan accept me? You took the karma of your devotees. Why? Are you our mother? or Father? However loving my mother may be, she cannot free me of my karma. You took our karma and bore it yourself. Is it not the highest act of selflessness? Am I then not justified to say that you are the highest? Ramanam sarvam idam.
