The special marriage gives a notice of 7 days while the ordinary marriage gives a notice of 21 days. if you are in a rush you can choose the special marriage but you will pay higher 👌

Getting married in the church doesnt automatically guaranty that your marriage certificate from the registry will be made available in your church. For his to happen, your church must be legally recognized and authorized by the provisions of the law to interface with the registry in processing your documents and issuing certificate. if not, you have to complete the registry process yourself up to the point of obtaining your marriage certificate from the registry.

But each time the man sent my friend with the money for the traditional wedding to Nigeria, he will end up disappointing her. This has happened twice. And this last time, she refused to return back to the marriage. She's been in Nigeria for 4yrs now but her husband never bothered to come and do the needful like he promised. Now she's fade up with the marriage. Can she move on and remarry in Nigeria ?

Yes it's a must atleast one of you must be there. Your pictures would even be taken. It's just to ensure that no one is marrying another person's spouse or other lapses
