This show plays continuously on the demo TV where I work, but there's never any audio. I named it _drama on a horse ranch_ since I never knew what it was called. This scene was on today. I just stood there in awe and stared at this beautiful man. I think I'm going to have to start watching 'drama on a horse ranch'.
One of my favorite scenes in the series. The whole way Ty fought for Amy to get through her blindness. I loved the way he stood up to Tim...and then what Tim said to Ty when Amy got her sight back.

Brings a tear to the eye when I watch this! I’ve always enjoyed Amber Marshall’s portrayal of Amy. She’s a strong, independent woman faced with a potential life altering accident. Heartland does a great job keeping these scenes authentic.
Poor Amy she would be blind forever and a burden to Ty. But he didn't care that she was blind. He loved her, no matter what. And I'm glad that her blindness wasn't permanent. I am glad that she can see again.
I couldn't stand seeing Ty scared to death for Amy in this episode or seeing Amy so scared and suffering in the hospital. In the episode, Dreamer, it was the other way around, Ty was sick, and Amy was scared to death for him, especially since she was 9 months pregnant.
You would think that this type of experience would bond a couple together for a life time. Yet, as we all know, shortly after this event Amy became pathetically connected to Ahmed even to the point of complaining to Ty tha Ahmed had not called her recently. Amy also later showed that she was willing to throw away everything she and Ty had together rather than accept any blame for lying to him about the "Ahmed Thing". That included their emotional affair, their deliberate and intentional kiss, and her serious consideration of breaking her engagment to Ty so that she could go pursue a new carreer that would produce more fame and fortune. It is hard to understand how anyone could turn their back on someone who has loved them so unconditionally as Ty did toward Amy. It takes a narcissitic (only cares about themselves) and emotionally abusive person to do something like that. Unfortuntely, that is what Amy has repeatedly proven herself to be.
This scene is not what it appears to be. When she returned home from the hospital, just before she regained her eyesight, she was looking for a way out of her engagement with Ty. First, when Amy says she is worried she won't get better, she starts playing with her engagement ring (an obvious sign). Later, when Amy tells Ty she may not get better, she tells him that he didn’t sign up for this, that he does not have to follow through, and that she will not hold him to any promise. She wants him to think about it. She is manipulating Ty. Watch the expression on her face change when she hugs Ty. Something is wrong. Also, notice how Ahmed's flowers are now brightly illuminated by the light from the window. Amy is in love with Ahmed and she wants out.
Wish we had the English/Portuguese DVDs version here in Brazil. I love watching Heartland with my family and they like watching it in Portuguese ahahaha I'll keep waiting for that, this show is too good not to be in all world languages :) Excited to watch season 13

Others told me recently that he is going through another "finding himself"phase and taking a road trip to decide what he wants in life. That doesnt sound very good and frankly a bit tiring to hear. You didn't care about his studies, you told him to help Georgie with Her Horse(what!!?) After all he did, You went to Europe and Did Not even Communicate with Ty while you were there all "wrapped up" with the Prince..came back home & didn't even want to kiss Ty(wow)! Why didn't Jack & Tim Tell YOU that It Was WRONG how you were Treating Ty(ugh!) Also, what Really made us "NOT LIKE" YOU even more is when You put ALL of TY's Belongings(Including the "Two Horses" Picture that Survived the Plane Crash that the Artist Jane gave to him for You!) in a Box for him to pick up without saying anything to him while You were showing Chase a "Good Time". He was So Happy that Painting did not get destroyed so He could give it to You! It was so sad when Ty brought the Picture Back and said "This Doesn't Belong to Me!" Our Entire group had tears..even the Men! How Could YOU BE SO EVIL, Munipliative and PATHETIC, well I guess your real life Amber speaks! You knew he didn't have a relationship with Blair. My wife and I have now watched Heartland a full 2nd time and Graham/Ty nailed his character for 13 seasons but my wife and I did think season 14 Amber just did awesome job in the Grieving, and hurting part for 10 Episodes. Just wow and maybe deep inside she new she screwed up. She is a consulting producer. None of us are not going to know the full truth of everything until someone writes a book after Heartland cancles out. Guaranteed Graham want be the first one to write that book. He doesn't seem to be that kind of person. I read some data on socail media posting that 125,000 wanted Graham back.We all know that's not going to happen. Only 25,000 plus wanted Amy to get a new love interest in 15. A friend of mind said those posting numbers are huge in the Media business. Season 15 is a make or break season. I hope they can figure it out. First some what clean show my wife and I watched together.
Amy was with Ahmed for 4 months and on the last day of tour the kiss happened. She went on tour as she wanted to buy farm along with Ty. Amy knew Ahmed knew the fact that she was engaged so she thought these might be just gifts from him and not for proposing her. The kiss they did not show Amy kissing back or even mentioning it. U should also think the fact that she stopped him right there and rejected his proposal. If she wanted she could have easily got Ahmed but she went back to Ty. Also about Ty, Ty even doubted Scott, Ty never spoke anything openly to Amy about how he loved her, gave up on Amy and went after Kit and he was so happy just like Caleb said he gave up easily on you. Even when Ty thought Amy was pregnant he was not able to ask her straight. U think Amy lead Ahmed, why didn't u think Ty lead Blair and Blair says that to him. What could have happened on the road trip with Blair. If Amy went on a tour with Chase her father was also there with her. She didn't go alone. If Ty could bring a girl with her why can't u think he must have flirted with her. Also Amy was a great support to Ty with his parents, with his problems. After marriage all he could do was not to stay at home.
If Ty had feelings for Amy why was he kissing or accepting kiss from Kit all the time. When poor Amy was juggling with her feelings for Ty all she could do was hung around with Caleb and she could not kiss Caleb all the time llke Ty kissed Kit. I would say Amy should not have gone back to Ty. Kit was a jealous woman, selfish woman remember Pegasus the horse and Amy forgive her. Kit wanted Ty from the moment he saw her naked. If Kit had given space for them Ty and Amy could be back. Kiss in the rain Ty left her bcoz he was seeing Kit then and may be he was not sure of his feelings (we could also think like that).
