One of my favourite scenes, Ty loved Amy so much. She rarely did anything to show Ty that she was sorry for any of her mistakes. In this scene it was interesting that Ty said that he was ok on his own and that surprised her
It was sad for Ty & Amy but Ty knew it was what Amy needed to see Amed had changed her. Not just on relationship level but also the way she trained, which at the time wasn’t the real Amy Ty had fallen in love with.
I cannot look at season 14 the writers created the characters Ty and Amy and it was so good to follow their relationship road but now to cut it off how can l follow these 2 when one is gone so not fair to the fans.

Agreed! Heartland died at the beginning of season 14. Very disappointing to see a main actor walk away from a fantastic tv series like Heartland. I guess I harbor a bit of resentment for an actor that thought it was ok to destroy the story he excelled in over 13 seasons. A podcast would have been fine after a successful and happy ending to a series that he excelled in. I'll be happy just watching reruns thru 13 and the great Utube clips! .
@@kaseyblack6763 Agreed, 100 percent. I watched the first couple episodes of 14 and have no interest going any further. The potential for this series to continue was so much greater had Ty stuck with it, keeping many fans glued to the story. 😔
I watch seasons 1 thru 13 over and over. The way those two interacted with was a huge part of the drama. It's like someone loosing one of their limbs. Loosing one of the two main actors has thrown the series out of sinc. Now it's just trying to push Amy off on the next ranch hand that surfaces at Heartland. Except for the scenery and horses, the magic that made it thru 13 seasons is gone. 😔
You're right. Ty proved to Amy that he didn't NEED her but he loved her and WANTED to be with her. He's making a choice. That has put her in tight corner! In an earlier episode, after breakup with Ty, Amy says to someone (Soraya/Ashley?) that people should be together not because they NEED each other but because they WANT to be with each other. Her own words return to bite her😀! A good comment by you🙏🏼
@@victormanuelfuentes19 Yes. He stays with Calebs in the trailer. Her friends try to talk her to make peace when she keeps asking them about his welfare. Then she says those words (Alas! She was merely mouthing the profound words!) Even under such circumstances Ty tries to help her get back Dexter! She never did any such thing. On the contrary, she asks him "What are you doing here?" when Ty goes to warn her about the bets being placed on Dexter in the claiming race. Such contrasting sensitivities between them!!! All she does is running to her lover boy Chase and promise to "do clinics" with him! You hit the nail on its head😀! She deserved every bit she got and much more. Ty being the golden-hearted gentleman he was, she didn't get much actually and she didn't even desperately try for a reconciliation! I wish Ty broke their engagement and moved on with his life and found true love elsewhere. RIP Ty 🙏🏼
@@victormanuelfuentes19 There's more to Graham's quitting Heartland than meets the eye. I don't accept that it is as simple as waning to explore other avenues and interests. The unrelenting and undeserving hype of Amy character became intolerable. "Amy can do no wrong. She can destroy lives (particularly Ty's) but feels no obligation to even apologise." Amy turned Ty character into her doormat; flirt with other lovers as she pleases, even in the presence of Ty, dump Ty when it doesn't suit her, and run back to Ty when other lovers dump her. Was this in the scheme of things in Ms Brooke's original story line? I doubt. S13 was a good, hopeful, happy note to end the mutilated series. The revival of the series, S14 was a total disaster with the lowlife Tim assuming centre-stage! You are right, Graham's quitting Heartland has sealed the fate of not only Ty's character but also of Heartland's fate.
Hate to say it but after Michelle Morgan/ Lou attacked Graham on Instagram the other day and Amber or somebody did not put Michelle/Lou in her place. I'm convinced now he was forced off the show. I have lost a lot of respect with Amber now. My wife and I are just stunned. The Great thing Graham took the high road and did not say anything back. Shows what kind of person he really is. Class act Graham Class act.
Rich, I dont watch new RUclips videos on HL much anymore but accastionally get notices on old ones like this one. Your comment about Michelle attacking or criticizing Graham was very interesting to me. Would you mind telling us what she said in her Instagram posting about Graham? If somehow it was about how he might have inappropriatly continued to try and stay involved with Amber even after she was married I would have to agree with her. That is speculation I know but if Michelle is now saying that is true, then I respect that and actually agree that Graham should have stayed away from Amber on a personal level since 2010 when Shaun moved in with Amber. My wife really thinks that Sean her husband, and Ty are being played by Amber. Thier are numerous interviews with Amber saying she is alot like her character. My wife is pretty smart and she flat out said thier are many Episodes when Ty was even close or near another girl Amy/Amber just reeled him in. I even challenged my wife on which Episode did this show up on. Wow she blew me out of the water in Season 2 Episode 11 Starstruck. 30 minutes and 38 seconds into it.. Where the movie star girl walks in kitchen and plays with Amy's head about playing Caleb and Ty against each other. I just drop my jaw at Amy/Amber. I was stunned how many times that happened. Hard for me to tell how much Amy is in control of this show or she can just switch on a dime in the character. I just hope who ever they are can pull it off.
@@richardocain8299 I appreciate the summary of Michelles Instagram post. I was going to ask you what might have occurred recently that would cause Michelle to go after Graham. I have not seen the actual post. I simply guessed that it was about Amber and Grahams past relationship or his political opposition to Pandemic restrictions like lockdowns etc. Both issues were speculated as reasons why Graham might have left the HL series. I can see how MIchelle might criticize the speaker at some political event that discusses covid vaccinations, masks and lockdowns. However, unless Graham was specifically involved in this event or posted his own comments in favor of it, I dont see why she would go after him . That just becomes a political debate at that point. More likely is that this reveals that Grahams opposition and criticisum of the government shut downs last year was a key reason why Michelle helped push him off of the show. It certainly shows that her personal opinion toward Graham is negative otherwise she would not have gone after him so strongly . Also, if it was purely about the vaccinations Michelle could make that clear by saying she likes Graham but disagrees with his view on this subject. It doesnt appear that she did that according to what you have said. I liked your info about the Graham interview where he admitted that he may not have the technical skills to direct episodes of HL. However, credible people said that after season 8 (or maybe even sooner) Graham repeatedly asked the CBC to simply let him shadow a producer etc and to have more input in the development of his character. That was so he could develop his technical skills in the industry. Amber certainly had that opportunity given to her and so did Michelle. They didnt have any more experience than Graham did when the show first started so why were they treated differently than him? His interview only helps confirm the speculation about what he wanted.. Of course, Amber could have easily helped him get that experience but instead she appears to have sided with Chris Potter and Michelle in getting his request denied or at least delayed into some time in the future. When it didnt happen when the new contracts were done in season 9 and again in season 12, (2018) Graham appeared to have had enough of their disrespect and false promises and told Amber he was going to leave. I think the "Cancell Culture" in the Entertainment Industry perhaps spurred on by the Pandemic issues, helped prevent him and the CBC from finding a way for him to stay even after he gave them notice of his leaving. As for the information about Amber and Grahams real relationship, you and I have talked about this before. Amber admitted that they dated 2-3 years when the show first started . After that some people posted that Graham said in an interview that he had told Amber that he loved her. Her response was reportedly "no, we are just too different of people to make that type of relationship work". If this is true, then I applaud Amber for making that decision. I take it that you have never heard Graham say anything like this. Correct? However, as your wife also appears to suspect, some other people posted that Amber played Shaun and Graham off against each other just like Amy did with Caleb and Ty. When Amber herself says "she often cant tell where her personality and real life stops and Amys personality and life starts" it makes you wonder how much of this is true. The producers really have appeared to make Ambers real life match much of their HL series storyline. That is kind of crazy. You have to admit, Graham is like Ty in how he cares about other people. Amber appears to be just like Amy and primarily concerned only about herself and making money. Marrying a divorced man nearly 10 years older than her and who already has 2 children seems kind of strange for a 22 year old (25 when she got married) woman like Amber. This is especially true given that Graham was likely her longest relationship before that. Still, I guess that is her business. Some women like older men especially when they are already living the cowboy life that she wanted. I agree with your distrust of the speculation about these two actors and what people post. Still, some credible people have given some good information about them. I think you have seen some of their posts. The one item I wish could be confimed is did Amber ever tell Graham that she didnt want a more serious relationship. That would tell us all lot if it is true. I appreciate your information above.

Well, she didnt want Ty back bad enough to be willing to admit to him how deeply she had betrayed his love and his committment to her. She couldnt even muster the most basic of apologies let alone one that was needed which was to tearfully tell him that "she was so, so sorry for how she treated him and that she just cant lose him". No, those tears were only reserved for the horses who were about to be sold for meat. The fact that Ty took her back without her even acknowleging what she had done wrong is why fans love Ty and increasely look down on Amy. She just isnt a person you can sympathize with or root for anymore.
She desperately wanted Ty to want her. In her mind the break was because she was a nightmare to all when she came back from Europe. And had nothing to do with her still continuing deceit of Ty and their relationship. Her knowingly accepting Ahmed's affection in the form of matetialistic things and playing it off as anything but. EVIL Amy is so much more like her father than what we've been told of her mother.

After 13 seasons I always return to 2 scenes that stay with me. 1st and best of all scenes is s11e11 at the beginning with ty and amy. This has so much positive regard and deep emotion that if it were not acting I could actually feel and believe it. 2nd is s8e11. After having his heart literally ripped from his chest by the woman he loved respected and trusted the most this scene shows he has fully forgiven her and somehow reistablished full trust. He has been faithful thru all the time she was away and after she returned but she is cold enough to not see any of that and make HIM promise to always tell her the truth. What kind of woman does that after she not once asked for any kind of forgiveness from him. To tell him she was sorry for the perception she made in his mind. And to say sorry not because she was caught but because she meant it. But then not since season one and two has she said I'm sorry or I was wrong. These stories are said to be vetted thru real life experiences. I would like to meet the person who did this and find out how they did it. Hoping for 14 15 16 and 17
Season 11/ep11 finally I saw some raw emotion from Amy for Ty. I always felt that Ty loved her more than she loved him,but this episode proved otherwise. Favourite episode💋❤️
Because she’s that kind of women and cheating, lying witch that puts horses and family and other men ahead of her husband. Ty always came last to her, she wanted Chase until he got married. That is the only reason she accepted Ty ring. Chase was married. Had Georgia not called her out she would have run off with the prince, that’s why only Georgia and Lou were the only ones that knew what was happening. @@MegaMinnick Mega...s8e4 is my favorite out of all the seasons. It is the only time that Ty called Amy out for who she really is. But the one line I laugh at every time is "Jack, I didn't know. If I knew so you think I would have asked him to dinner?" Almost every time I watch this scene, which is many, I find myself standing up and yelling "YES, you would have invited him!!!" If Tim thought that there was one chance in a billion to get Amy away from Ty AND have Amy bring millions of $ into the family he absolutely would have invited him. And then Jack sat there like a lump when he purposely pushed Ahmed to Amy. Thru are both fakes. When Ty gave Jack the reason for staying away from Amy was because he didn't want to stand in Amy's way from being what she wanted to be, from her being successful Jack said NOTHING to Amy. When Ty was working at the clinic and Lou came in to buy supplies Ty asked Lou to tell Amy HELLO which would have told Amy that he loved her and wanted to talk Lou said nothing to Amy. But then again every time Amy saw Ty not once did she get out of the truck or get off that damn horse to tell him she loved and missed him and wanted to talk. Was he suppose to read her mind. But then. HL is all about conflict and common sense has never really mattered. Weather in real life or in the HL world Ty/Graham should have kicked Amy/Amber to the curb and found a woman that could really love him back. Can you imagine how GW Must have felt when he was made to recreate Amber's engagement and then even worse her wedding? I mean really what kind of heartless self absorbed person asks a guy she knows has feeling for her to do that? Or maybe she was actually hoping he would leave after s8 so she would get all the attention. Honesty, I have no idea where this woman's ideas come from. It definitely does come from a place of genuine caring for,someone else's feelings.
Viendo el comienzo de la temporada 8 no me parece que ty se disculpa con amy , pensando que el tuvo la culpa de la separación temporal con ella y estando comprometidos. Amy si cambio su actitud y modo de verlos a ellos, porque en Europa que fue lo que hizo las fiestas, ropa, zapatos, comida en lugares costosos, viajes a Italia y Francia, atención en la casa de ahmed donde ella se sentía reina y todo quien lo pago fue AHMED y me imagino que hubo relaciones sexuales. Me pregunto con que pago el agradecimiento que recibió en el viaje, nosotros vimos el final de todos los pagos con la entrega de collar y el beso que se dieron los dos (ambos de dieron el beso recíprocamente) y suponemos que de ahí el le propuso matrimonio a ella y le dijo que se esperara para hablar con ty. Despues cuando regreso a heartland se noto a cambio, como puede ser que al ver a su prometido le nego 3 veces el beso y todavia pregunta amy a ty si lo extraño y que ella no lo extraño o lo olvido por atención al príncipe . En la casa de ty ella lo humillo diciéndole que la perdida del rancho fue culpa de el y no le interesaba todo porque ella no estaba para comprarlo y fue cuando ty le dijo que en 3 meses no sabia nada de ella y no le contestaba los llamadas ni e-mails. Posteriormente al dia siguiente le llevo ty la camioneta que quería comprar y cual fue la respuesta le dijo que estaba idiota o que estaba haciendo y que no iba a subirse a ella. En la noche recibió en e-mail de Ahmed regalándole el caballo gypsy en frente de el y no le digo nada a ty. En la fiesta que le hicieron a Jack y Lisa fue cuando Luo le enseño el video a amy y que fue lo que dijo nada solamente que se confundió el con ella paro no paso nada. Luego viene el regalo de la camioneta a amy diciendo que era un bono por su trabajo y que no pensara que era otra cosa y después cundo ty la vio la camioneta ella empezó a dar escusas que ni ella se las creía y el le dijo que descubriera lo que ella quería. También fue lo del viaje otra vez a europa con su equipo y el príncipe y le dijo a ty para saber como iba a reaccionar, pero como vio nada a su favor le dijo que no iba a ir. Después el día crucial que ahmed se presenta en heartland fue crucial. le pidió que la acompañara a la subasta de caballos pero se la llevo a ver la casa que iba a comprar el, y al ver la casa y decirle que su casa en Francia estaba emocionada y fue cuando le dijo el a amy que estaba enamorado de ella, y ahí se vio que si estaba queriéndolo a el porque no hubo una actitud ni respuesta contundente de que no sentía esos sentimiento de quererlo a el y porque estaba pensando otra cosa, no hubo la respuesta clara y para ser honestos Ahmed no se la creía. después en la cena cuando se supo todo entre ellos Lou le dijo si por regalarle el collar caro, gypsi y la camioneta podía comprar su amor estaba mal. y que fue lo que dijo amy nada se quedo plasmada al oir todo lo que lou decía. y después cuando había que hablar tampoco dijo nada para reprocharle su amor, lo único que dijo que había roto la relacion entre ambos. Después en el pleito que hubo entre ahmed y ty le dijo a amy que que pasaba y lo dijo que no había nada con ahmed pero no le dijo del video que hubo y ty de fue para atender a la loba. El dia siguiente le comento georgie del video y fue a hablar con amy y no tuvo que aceptar todo lo que paso, y después de ver el video tuvo ella decir que no pasaba nada con amhed, la verdad ni ella se lo creyó y fue cuando ty rompió temporalmente su relacion y ella no respondió nada ni disculparse y decir que ella tenia la culpa. porque a ensenarle el video y respondió ella que después de eso fue cuando dijo que eran amigos( como dijo "eso", fue para que preguntáramos si fue el beso, el collar, la mano que estaba en algo indebido, fue muchas veces del beso conjunto que tuvieron, o que?) Por esto que sucedió porque ponen a ty como la persona que se disculpa de todo lo que hubo y a amy ni se disculpo y pidió perdón por su deshonestidad y deslealtad por su amor a ty. Perdóname pero eso es lo único malo que tienen ustedes escritores y productores

The break up was absolutely necessary . The make was very weak. The kiss or her betrayal with Ahmed was never discussed again. Amy never needs to apologize for anything!
I hate the fact that they got back together. I just hate when they have characters break up like just let them be happy. It is the worst thing and i was mad that they broke up just to get back together.

I agree with the statement Bob Meyer made…I remain very disappointed that Graham walked away from Heartland, a show that to me, is the best show on tv, and it’s because of the beautifully written story of the developing love between Amy and Ty. I do feel that Graham could have continued with his Podcasts and still be on the show. Failing that, at least give us a happy ending, and just END Heartland!
It is more than simply "sharing the same dreams and goals". Amy betrayed Ty in one of the most initmate ways possible. Yes, apparently it didnt involve actual sex but it did involve a several month long emotional affair that culminated in a very intentional and deliberate kiss. Those types of rejections and betrayals can cause nearly the same amount of emotional pain as a sexual affair does. Having Amy acknowledge and apologize for her dishonesty and her unfaithful actions was a critical reason for the break. It just never got communicated in the script that way. The scene above or when they talked by the RIver would have been a good time to have Ty tell Amy what he told Jack; that he didnt want to hold her back. If she wanted to be a rich and famous horse trainer that would be her choice. He also needed to tell Amy staight out how much her uncertainty about marrying him and her dishonesty about what had happened in Europe had hurt him. The repeated lies and her willingness to basically go for over 4 months and not really care whether she spoke to him or not caused him to seriously question whether she ever loved him at all. Who can blame him? To fix this she would need to convince him through actions and not just words that she her love was real and that she wanted to be with him in his world. Otherwise, they were done. He would not take her back. At least that would have given some justification for this "break". As it stands now, it was basically a waste of time. Both Amy and most viewers apparently didnt understand what the purpose of the break was even for. As always, in the end Amy never acknowledged any wrong doing and Ty simply forgave her. Totally ridiculous and unrealistic. With that being the case, apparently the only benefit of the break was that Ty ends up admitting that quite accidentily, the break did help him realize that "he was ok on his own". By that I guess he was warning Amy, "Ok, dont do this to me again because I am ok on my own". That seems pretty stupid and weak to me. From there he went on to compliment Amy for "changing in a good way". As the script often does it lacked detail so no one knew what he meant by that statement. Most viewers like me were gaging anyway so it didnt really matter.
I know that Ty was really angry at Amy when she cheated on him but you know it took him sometime to realize that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. At the end of the clip he didn't care that she cheated on him he cared that He loved her and she loved him. Even though she cheated on him you guys should know that she has been through so much series of the show. I think that Ty would be the perfect husband for Amy.
On Heartland Series 7-8th Was When The Chemistry Changed Between Ty And Amy Relationship Why ? On Heartland Should Have Ended With Ty And Amy Wedding And Someone Said Ty And Amy Wouldn’t Had Lindy There Daughter Together!
Why does Ty play the drama queen during these breakups? He always seems to be the one to say "I dont think I can do this anymore" or weakly give Amy a pass for the disrespectful way she treats him etc. This show is just so packed with emotional transfer that it gets addicting. It is too bad that Amy is never held accountable for the damage she causes. Because of that, she loses a great deal of credibility in later episodes when she does express her love for Ty. Based on her actions, everyone knows that she is not really sincere and is primarily concerned only about herself.
Reed, I dont see it that way. If you go back before he says that Amy has badgered him and won't stop. Or in this case she built a perception that said it was going on for months. Look again. It's like two kids in the back seat a one keeps poking thr other under he screams and the parent punishes the kid that screamed and not the one poking. Just like amy has done to Ty, many times. Keep in mind this show is about HOW girls and women ALWAYS WIN.
@@larryhigginson3549 I understand swhat you are sayig including the fact that Amy was never going to let this go until Ty admitted that he had led Blari on just like she had lead Chase on. I also understand that this show is about strong modern and independent women. Still, as it relates to both issues, that doesnt mean that Ty has to look so weak each time. As for your reference about the timing of these breakups, the drama of the first one occurred all in 1-2 days. Amy was definitely in the wrong there but the writers never gave Ty any good lines to show that to the audience. What he needed was something like this.. 1. Ty responds by saying "whatever happended to our agreement to put this behind us?" Answer: actually it was Mallory telling Amy not to believe Blair who said she is the one who came onto Ty. 2. admitting that yes he was attracted to Blair but only in that he thought she was a pretty girl. It never entered his mind to be interested in a girl with an existing boyfriend. Besides, he already had a girlfriend in Amy who he loved unconditionally. note: honestly, I guess that is what Ty meant when he said "he never went there". 3. lines compariing Amys emotional kiss with Chase in which she told Ty that he should blame her and not Chase with Tys immediate rejection of Blair's unexpected kiss. Also, point out that it was at that same emotional moment when Amy tells Ty that if he ever had something similar happen with another girl that she knows he would tell her about it. In Tys mind, there is nothing similar with these events. Besides, given how emotional Amy's confession was, would you expect Ty to respond then anyway.? No Instead, Ty becomes the drama queen again by saying "I cant do this any more". That was pretty weak . Ty was better but still not forceful enough during the second breakup. Was this "break" actually 3 months long? Why didnt Ty call out Amys double standard for lieing by omission when she never told Ty about the Amad kiss or that he told her that he loved her? He could have gone on by asking her how she expects him to feel after she rarely called him or even returned his calls during the 4 months that she was in Europe. That fact is simply unbelievable and Ty should have been allowed to call her out on it in the script. He also should have seen it as a red flag that Amy was never committed to him . Other examples of Amy getting off easy. 1. Amy cut ties with Ty pretty easy after the first breakup and was quoted as saying "she was more than fine without Ty". TY, on the other hand, had a very difficult time with it. When he came back to HL, the writers could have let him tell Amy that "he was not going to let her / their breakup ruin his future." 2. Amy is upset that Ty hasnt proposed but yet actually didnt know how she would respond to him when he did ask. Later, she even laughs and mocks him after he learns that she knows about the ring and suggests that they get married. Amy never seems to suffer any consequences for the very intimate betrayals and injustices that she puts Ty through.
Reed, I have mentioned in other postings that my respect for Amy was greatly lessened in season 2 when she played Ty and Caleb off each other. After season 11 I actually said she has a heart of stone for all the time she has treated Ty as her pet and that she used Ty when it was convenient. I loved season 12 because Ty was finally allowed to be equal but different. Also lost respect for Amber because she has been a large part of script approval.. Scripts that have always painted men, except Jack, to be narrow and shallow. So, good example for families and especially little girls. Amber and the show have actually hurt young women. Not since S1 has she said I'm sorry or that she made a mistake. She has always won everything she tried. I work for a co that does surveys for for political and business interests. They say that Amber would need excellent skills in over 150 disciplines. Put that with having tite pants and chest that is increased and decreased at will and women are given the thought that's how to get what they want. Believe me, I really like my fast forward button.
@@larryhigginson3549 My general feeling is that from the 1st season until the 4th (first breakdup) that Ty was treated fairly. The one exception was the writers not letting viewers know what Ty said in his letter to Amy when he left to visit his dad. Other than that, Ty built Amy her first jumps and made logical suggestions on how to get horses over issues (open up trailer side door so it doesnt look like a jail cell) which Amy agreed with. Amy even repeatedly asked Ty to stay at Heartland because she wanted him to. Howver, after that, the script seems to go out of the way to make Ty and other male charachters (even Jack in some cases) look bad compared to the women. It just wasnt necessary. The one I hated the most was where Ty decides against going to Mongolia because he wants to be with Amy as they prepare to be parents. Then Amy guilts him into leaving because she wants to be seen as supporting his goals like he supported hers when she went to Europe . Big mistake. To me this just made Ty look like the most selfish person around. To satisfy his stupid idea of "trying to save the "GD Gobey bears " as Tim described it, he made everyone else sacrifice even more than he did. Scott had to let him off work yet was expected to keep his job open for him. Jack needed his help and of course Amy sacrificed having her husband with her as they prepared for the birth of their first child. Really, what did this prove to the audience? It would have been better if they let Ty set an example of sacrificing his desire to save wild animals to his desire to be a good husband and father. I was hoping at the time that he wouild tell Amy, "No, I am not going I want to stay". Both characters and genders can be strong and capable without putting down the other. I wish the writers of this show would have tried to do this better. I agree with you that things have gotten better in the later seasons. They had to do something to repair Amys damaged image. Still, because of her earlier behavior, Amy still comes across to me as insincere and willing to cut Ty down (as she did when she called him a sexist for wanting to earn his share of the farm downpayment) anytime the opportunity presents itself. I dont understand your reference to "tight pants and chest size" . That is one thing that I really like about this show is that sex is not front and center. If it was, just think how many ways that Amy could say or do something to make Ty look bad.

She gradually becomes a hardcore Fleming as the series progresses - self centred, dominating and money money and more money - till Ty stands up like a man, stops being her puppy and puts a stop to this and gets Amy back on track. ( I sure Marion would have been happy to see that) ! I was happy to see Ty moving on to become a Vet from a ranch hand shovelling horse manure ( same as Scott as given to understand). That ensured both Tim and Jack respected him ( though now they have a 'Vet for free' sitting at home !!!!)
Why re u all concerned about youngsters falling in and out of love.. These things happen so many times in real life than reel life. Ultimately it's how u live ur married life is the most important. Ty and Amy both did things that any youngsters in their age does but eventually they became matured from their break ups and led a good married life. We can learn the good things they did as a couple.

It really boils down to each his own. People have different likes and dislikes. I have seen many so-called award winning A-list actors that I thought were terrible. This series resonates with a very large fan base or it would not span the amount of time it has.
Well now that Graham is gone I hope they get Shaun Turner to be Amy's new boy friend so we can get some better inter action scenes with Amy and her new love interest. LOL

Agreed! Heartland died at the beginning of season 14. Very disappointing to see a main actor walk away from a fantastic tv series like Heartland. I guess I harbor a bit of resentment for an actor that thought it was ok to destroy the story he excelled in over 13 seasons. A podcast would have been fine after a successful and happy ending to a series that he excelled in. I'll be happy just watching reruns thru 13 and the great Utube clips!

I watch seasons 1 thru 13 over and over. The way those two interacted with was a huge part of the drama. It's like someone loosing one of their limbs. Loosing one of the two main actors has thrown the series out of sinc. Now it's just trying to push Amy off on the next ranch hand that surfaces at Heartland. Except for the scenery and horses, the magic that made it thru 13 seasons is gone. 😔

On the contrary, she asks him "What are you doing here?" when Ty goes to warn her about the bets being placed on Dexter in the claiming race. Such contrasting sensitivities between them!!! All she does is running to her lover boy Chase and promise to "do clinics" with him!

Ty being the golden-hearted gentleman he was, she didn't get much actually and she didn't even desperately try for a reconciliation! The unrelenting and undeserving hype of Amy character became intolerable. "Amy can do no wrong. She can destroy lives (particularly Ty's) but feels no obligation to even apologise." Amy turned Ty character into her doormat; flirt with other lovers as she pleases, even in the presence of Ty, dump Ty when it doesn't suit her, and run back to Ty when other lovers dump her. Was this in the scheme of things in Ms Brooke's original story line? I doubt. S13 was a good, hopeful, happy note to end the mutilated series. The revival of the series, S14 was a total disaster with the lowlife Tim assuming centre-stage!

Hate to say it but after Michelle Morgan/ Lou attacked Graham on Instagram the other day and Amber or somebody did not put Michelle/Lou in her place. I'm convinced now he was forced off the show. I have lost a lot of respect with Amber now. My wife and I are just stunned. The Great thing Graham took the high road and did not say anything back. Shows what kind of person he really is. I even challenged my wife on which Episode did this show up on. Wow she blew me out of the water in Season 2 Episode 11 Starstruck. 30 minutes and 38 seconds into it.. Where the movie star girl walks in kitchen and plays with Amy's head about playing Caleb and Ty against each other. I just drop my jaw at Amy/Amber. I was stunned how many times that happened. Hard for me to tell how much Amy is in control of this show or she can just switch on a dime in the character. I just hope who ever they are can pull it off.

I have not seen the actual post. I simply guessed that it was about Amber and Grahams past relationship or his political opposition to Pandemic restrictions like lockdowns etc. Both issues were speculated as reasons why Graham might have left the HL series.
I can see how MIchelle might criticize the speaker at some political event that discusses covid vaccinations, masks and lockdowns. However, unless Graham was specifically involved in this event or posted his own comments in favor of it, I dont see why she would go after him . That just becomes a political debate at that point. More likely is that this reveals that Grahams opposition and criticisum of the government shut downs last year was a key reason why Michelle helped push him off of the show. It certainly shows that her personal opinion toward Graham is negative otherwise she would not have gone after him so strongly . Also, if it was purely about the vaccinations Michelle could make that clear by saying she likes Graham but disagrees with his view on this subject. It doesnt appear that she did that according to what you have said.
I liked your info about the Graham interview where he admitted that he may not have the technical skills to direct episodes of HL. However, credible people said that after season 8 (or maybe even sooner) Graham repeatedly asked the CBC to simply let him shadow a producer etc and to have more input in the development of his character. That was so he could develop his technical skills in the industry. Amber certainly had that opportunity given to her and so did Michelle. They didnt have any more experience than Graham did when the show first started so why were they treated differently than him? His interview only helps confirm the speculation about what he wanted..
Of course, Amber could have easily helped him get that experience but instead she appears to have sided with Chris Potter and Michelle in getting his request denied or at least delayed into some time in the future. When it didnt happen when the new contracts were done in season 9 and again in season 12, (2018) Graham appeared to have had enough of their disrespect and false promises and told Amber he was going to leave. I think the "Cancell Culture" in the Entertainment Industry perhaps spurred on by the Pandemic issues, helped prevent him and the CBC from finding a way for him to stay even after he gave them notice of his leaving.
As for the information about Amber and Grahams real relationship, you and I have talked about this before. Amber admitted that they dated 2-3 years when the show first started . After that some people posted that Graham said in an interview that he had told Amber that he loved her. Her response was reportedly "no, we are just too different of people to make that type of relationship work". If this is true, then I applaud Amber for making that decision. I take it that you have never heard Graham say anything like this. Correct?
However, as your wife also appears to suspect, some other people posted that Amber played Shaun and Graham off against each other just like Amy did with Caleb and Ty. When Amber herself says "she often cant tell where her personality and real life stops and Amys personality and life starts" it makes you wonder how much of this is true. The producers really have appeared to make Ambers real life match much of their HL series storyline. That is kind of crazy.
You have to admit, Graham is like Ty in how he cares about other people. Amber appears to be just like Amy and primarily concerned only about herself and making money. Marrying a divorced man nearly 10 years older than her and who already has 2 children seems kind of strange for a 22 year old (25 when she got married) woman like Amber. This is especially true given that Graham was likely her longest relationship before that. Still, I guess that is her business. Some women like older men especially when they are already living the cowboy life that she wanted.
I agree with your distrust of the speculation about these two actors and what people post. Still, some credible people have given some good information about them. I think you have seen some of their posts. The one item I wish could be confimed is did Amber ever tell Graham that she didnt want a more serious relationship. That would tell us all lot if it is true.

Well, she didnt want Ty back bad enough to be willing to admit to him how deeply she had betrayed his love and his committment to her. She couldnt even muster the most basic of apologies let alone one that was needed which was to tearfully tell him that "she was so, so sorry for how she treated him and that she just cant lose him". No, those tears were only reserved for the horses who were about to be sold for meat.
The fact that Ty took her back without her even acknowleging what she had done wrong is why fans love Ty and increasely look down on Amy. She just isnt a person you can sympathize with or root for anymore.

After 13 seasons I always return to 2 scenes that stay with me.
1st and best of all scenes is s11e11 at the beginning with ty and amy. This has so much positive regard and deep emotion that if it were not acting I could actually feel and believe it.
2nd is s8e11. After having his heart literally ripped from his chest by the woman he loved respected and trusted the most this scene shows he has fully forgiven her and somehow reistablished full trust. He has been faithful thru all the time she was away and after she returned but she is cold enough to not see any of that and make HIM promise to always tell her the truth. What kind of woman does that after she not once asked for any kind of forgiveness from him. To tell him she was sorry for the perception she made in his mind. And to say sorry not because she was caught but because she meant it. But then not since season one and two has she said I'm sorry or I was wrong.
These stories are said to be vetted thru real life experiences. I would like to meet the person who did this and find out how they did it.

Season 11/ep11 finally I saw some raw emotion from Amy for Ty. I always felt that Ty loved her more than she loved him,but this episode proved otherwise. Favourite episode💋❤️

@@MegaMinnick Mega...s8e4 is my favorite out of all the seasons. It is the only time that Ty called Amy out for who she really is. But the one line I laugh at every time is "Jack, I didn't know. If I knew so you think I would have asked him to dinner?" Almost every time I watch this scene, which is many, I find myself standing up and yelling "YES, you would have invited him!!!" If Tim thought that there was one chance in a billion to get Amy away from Ty AND have Amy bring millions of $ into the family he absolutely would have invited him. And then Jack sat there like a lump when he purposely pushed Ahmed to Amy. Thru are both fakes. When Ty gave Jack the reason for staying away from Amy was because he didn't want to stand in Amy's way from being what she wanted to be, from her being successful Jack said NOTHING to Amy. When Ty was working at the clinic and Lou came in to buy supplies Ty asked Lou to tell Amy HELLO which would have told Amy that he loved her and wanted to talk Lou said nothing to Amy. But then again every time Amy saw Ty not once did she get out of the truck or get off that damn horse to tell him she loved and missed him and wanted to talk. Was he suppose to read her mind. But then. HL is all about conflict and common sense has never really mattered. Weather in real life or in the HL world Ty/Graham should have kicked Amy/Amber to the curb and found a woman that could really love him back. Can you imagine how GW Must have felt when he was made to recreate Amber's engagement and then even worse her wedding? I mean really what kind of heartless self absorbed person asks a guy she knows has feeling for her to do that? Or maybe she was actually hoping he would leave after s8 so she would get all the attention. Honesty, I have no idea where this woman's ideas come from. It definitely does come from a place of genuine caring for,someone else's feelings.
Viendo el comienzo de la temporada 8 no me parece que ty se disculpa con amy , pensando que el tuvo la culpa de la separación temporal con ella y estando comprometidos. Amy si cambio su actitud y modo de verlos a ellos, porque en Europa que fue lo que hizo las fiestas, ropa, zapatos, comida en lugares costosos, viajes a Italia y Francia, atención en la casa de ahmed donde ella se sentía reina y todo quien lo pago fue AHMED y me imagino que hubo relaciones sexuales. Me pregunto con que pago el agradecimiento que recibió en el viaje, nosotros vimos el final de todos los pagos con la entrega de collar y el beso que se dieron los dos (ambos de dieron el beso recíprocamente) y suponemos que de ahí el le propuso matrimonio a ella y le dijo que se esperara para hablar con ty. Despues cuando regreso a heartland se noto a cambio, como puede ser que al ver a su prometido le nego 3 veces el beso y todavia pregunta amy a ty si lo extraño y que ella no lo extraño o lo olvido por atención al príncipe . En la casa de ty ella lo humillo diciéndole que la perdida del rancho fue culpa de el y no le interesaba todo porque ella no estaba para comprarlo y fue cuando ty le dijo que en 3 meses no sabia nada de ella y no le contestaba los llamadas ni e-mails. Posteriormente al dia siguiente le llevo ty la camioneta que quería comprar y cual fue la respuesta le dijo que estaba idiota o que estaba haciendo y que no iba a subirse a ella. En la noche recibió en e-mail de Ahmed regalándole el caballo gypsy en frente de el y no le digo nada a ty. En la fiesta que le hicieron a Jack y Lisa fue cuando Luo le enseño el video a amy y que fue lo que dijo nada solamente que se confundió el con ella paro no paso nada. Luego viene el regalo de la camioneta a amy diciendo que era un bono por su trabajo y que no pensara que era otra cosa y después cundo ty la vio la camioneta ella empezó a dar escusas que ni ella se las creía y el le dijo que descubriera lo que ella quería. También fue lo del viaje otra vez a europa con su equipo y el príncipe y le dijo a ty para saber como iba a reaccionar, pero como vio nada a su favor le dijo que no iba a ir.
Después el día crucial que ahmed se presenta en heartland fue crucial. le pidió que la acompañara a la subasta de caballos pero se la llevo a ver la casa que iba a comprar el, y al ver la casa y decirle que su casa en Francia estaba emocionada y fue cuando le dijo el a amy que estaba enamorado de ella, y ahí se vio que si estaba queriéndolo a el porque no hubo una actitud ni respuesta contundente de que no sentía esos sentimiento de quererlo a el y porque estaba pensando otra cosa, no hubo la respuesta clara y para ser honestos Ahmed no se la creía. después en la cena cuando se supo todo entre ellos Lou le dijo si por regalarle el collar caro, gypsi y la camioneta podía comprar su amor estaba mal. y que fue lo que dijo amy nada se quedo plasmada al oir todo lo que lou decía. y después cuando había que hablar tampoco dijo nada para reprocharle su amor, lo único que dijo que había roto la relacion entre ambos. Después en el pleito que hubo entre ahmed y ty le dijo a amy que que pasaba y lo dijo que no había nada con ahmed pero no le dijo del video que hubo y ty de fue para atender a la loba.
El dia siguiente le comento georgie del video y fue a hablar con amy y no tuvo que aceptar todo lo que paso, y después de ver el video tuvo ella decir que no pasaba nada con amhed, la verdad ni ella se lo creyó y fue cuando ty rompió temporalmente su relacion y ella no respondió nada ni disculparse y decir que ella tenia la culpa. porque a ensenarle el video y respondió ella que después de eso fue cuando dijo que eran amigos( como dijo "eso", fue para que preguntáramos si fue el beso, el collar, la mano que estaba en algo indebido, fue muchas veces del beso conjunto que tuvieron, o que?)
Por esto que sucedió porque ponen a ty como la persona que se disculpa de todo lo que hubo y a amy ni se disculpo y pidió perdón por su deshonestidad y deslealtad por su amor a ty. Perdóname pero eso es lo único malo que tienen ustedes escritores y productores

Was that supposed to be the apology!? "I was a nightmare...etc"!? Who is the culprit and look who is explaining the situation! Script well decimated to keep alive the hype around Amy!

The break up was absolutely necessary . The make was very weak. The kiss or her betrayal with Ahmed was never discussed again. Amy never needs to apologize for anything!

I agree with the statement Bob Meyer made…I remain very disappointed that Graham walked away from Heartland, a show that to me, is the best show on tv, and it’s because of the beautifully written story of the developing love between Amy and Ty. I do feel that Graham could have continued with his Podcasts and still be on the show. Failing that, at least give us a happy ending, and just END Heartland!

They both grew up in that time , she on her own in the traveling she did and him being on his own. Jackie
It is more than simply "sharing the same dreams and goals". Amy betrayed Ty in one of the most initmate ways possible. Yes, apparently it didnt involve actual sex but it did involve a several month long emotional affair that culminated in a very intentional and deliberate kiss. Those types of rejections and betrayals can cause nearly the same amount of emotional pain as a sexual affair does. Having Amy acknowledge and apologize for her dishonesty and her unfaithful actions was a critical reason for the break. It just never got communicated in the script that way.
The scene above or when they talked by the RIver would have been a good time to have Ty tell Amy what he told Jack; that he didnt want to hold her back. If she wanted to be a rich and famous horse trainer that would be her choice. He also needed to tell Amy staight out how much her uncertainty about marrying him and her dishonesty about what had happened in Europe had hurt him. The repeated lies and her willingness to basically go for over 4 months and not really care whether she spoke to him or not caused him to seriously question whether she ever loved him at all. Who can blame him? To fix this she would need to convince him through actions and not just words that she her love was real and that she wanted to be with him in his world. Otherwise, they were done. He would not take her back.
At least that would have given some justification for this "break". As it stands now, it was basically a waste of time. Both Amy and most viewers apparently didnt understand what the purpose of the break was even for.
As always, in the end Amy never acknowledged any wrong doing and Ty simply forgave her. Totally ridiculous and unrealistic.
With that being the case, apparently the only benefit of the break was that Ty ends up admitting that quite accidentily, the break did help him realize that "he was ok on his own". By that I guess he was warning Amy, "Ok, dont do this to me again because I am ok on my own". That seems pretty stupid and weak to me.
From there he went on to compliment Amy for "changing in a good way". As the script often does it lacked detail so no one knew what he meant by that statement. Most viewers like me were gaging anyway so it didnt really matter.
I know that Ty was really angry at Amy when she cheated on him but you know it took him sometime to realize that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. At the end of the clip he didn't care that she cheated on him he cared that He loved her and she loved him. Even though she cheated on him you guys should know that she has been through so much series of the show. I think that Ty would be the perfect husband for Amy.

Why does Ty play the drama queen during these breakups? He always seems to be the one to say "I dont think I can do this anymore" or weakly give Amy a pass for the disrespectful way she treats him etc.
This show is just so packed with emotional transfer that it gets addicting.
It is too bad that Amy is never held accountable for the damage she causes. Because of that, she loses a great deal of credibility in later episodes when she does express her love for Ty. Based on her actions, everyone knows that she is not really sincere and is primarily concerned only about herself.
Reed, I dont see it that way. If you go back before he says that Amy has badgered him and won't stop. Or in this case she built a perception that said it was going on for months. Look again. It's like two kids in the back seat a one keeps poking thr other under he screams and the parent punishes the kid that screamed and not the one poking. Just like amy has done to Ty, many times. Keep in mind this show is about HOW girls and women ALWAYS WIN.
@@larryhigginson3549 I understand swhat you are sayig including the fact that Amy was never going to let this go until Ty admitted that he had led Blari on just like she had lead Chase on. I also understand that this show is about strong modern and independent women. Still, as it relates to both issues, that doesnt mean that Ty has to look so weak each time.
As for your reference about the timing of these breakups, the drama of the first one occurred all in 1-2 days. Amy was definitely in the wrong there but the writers never gave Ty any good lines to show that to the audience. What he needed was something like this..
1. Ty responds by saying "whatever happended to our agreement to put this behind us?"
Answer: actually it was Mallory telling Amy not to believe Blair who said she is the one who came onto Ty.
2. admitting that yes he was attracted to Blair but only in that he thought she was a pretty girl. It never entered his mind to be interested in a girl with an existing boyfriend. Besides, he already had a girlfriend in Amy who he loved unconditionally.
note: honestly, I guess that is what Ty meant when he said "he never went there".
3. lines compariing Amys emotional kiss with Chase in which she told Ty that he should blame her and not Chase with Tys immediate rejection of Blair's unexpected kiss. Also, point out that it was at that same emotional moment when Amy tells Ty that if he ever had something similar happen with another girl that she knows he would tell her about it. In Tys mind, there is nothing similar with these events. Besides, given how emotional Amy's confession was, would you expect Ty to respond then anyway.? No
Instead, Ty becomes the drama queen again by saying "I cant do this any more". That was pretty weak .
Ty was better but still not forceful enough during the second breakup. Was this "break" actually 3 months long? Why didnt Ty call out Amys double standard for lieing by omission when she never told Ty about the Amad kiss or that he told her that he loved her? He could have gone on by asking her how she expects him to feel after she rarely called him or even returned his calls during the 4 months that she was in Europe. That fact is simply unbelievable and Ty should have been allowed to call her out on it in the script. He also should have seen it as a red flag that Amy was never committed to him .
Other examples of Amy getting off easy.
1. Amy cut ties with Ty pretty easy after the first breakup and was quoted as saying "she was more than fine without Ty". TY, on the other hand, had a very difficult time with it. When he came back to HL, the writers could have let him tell Amy that "he was not going to let her / their breakup ruin his future."
2. Amy is upset that Ty hasnt proposed but yet actually didnt know how she would respond to him when he did ask. Later, she even laughs and mocks him after he learns that she knows about the ring and suggests that they get married.
Amy never seems to suffer any consequences for the very intimate betrayals and injustices that she puts Ty through.
Reed, I have mentioned in other postings that my respect for Amy was greatly lessened in season 2 when she played Ty and Caleb off each other. After season 11 I actually said she has a heart of stone for all the time she has treated Ty as her pet and that she used Ty when it was convenient. I loved season 12 because Ty was finally allowed to be equal but different. Also lost respect for Amber because she has been a large part of script approval.. Scripts that have always painted men, except Jack, to be narrow and shallow. So, good example for families and especially little girls. Amber and the show have actually hurt young women. Not since S1 has she said I'm sorry or that she made a mistake. She has always won everything she tried. I work for a co that does surveys for for political and business interests. They say that Amber would need excellent skills in over 150 disciplines. Put that with having tite pants and chest that is increased and decreased at will and women are given the thought that's how to get what they want. Believe me, I really like my fast forward button.

My general feeling is that from the 1st season until the 4th (first breakdup) that Ty was treated fairly. The one exception was the writers not letting viewers know what Ty said in his letter to Amy when he left to visit his dad. Other than that, Ty built Amy her first jumps and made logical suggestions on how to get horses over issues (open up trailer side door so it doesnt look like a jail cell) which Amy agreed with. Amy even repeatedly asked Ty to stay at Heartland because she wanted him to.
Howver, after that, the script seems to go out of the way to make Ty and other male charachters (even Jack in some cases) look bad compared to the women. It just wasnt necessary. The one I hated the most was where Ty decides against going to Mongolia because he wants to be with Amy as they prepare to be parents. Then Amy guilts him into leaving because she wants to be seen as supporting his goals like he supported hers when she went to Europe . Big mistake.
To me this just made Ty look like the most selfish person around. To satisfy his stupid idea of "trying to save the "GD Gobey bears " as Tim described it, he made everyone else sacrifice even more than he did. Scott had to let him off work yet was expected to keep his job open for him. Jack needed his help and of course Amy sacrificed having her husband with her as they prepared for the birth of their first child. Really, what did this prove to the audience?
It would have been better if they let Ty set an example of sacrificing his desire to save wild animals to his desire to be a good husband and father. I was hoping at the time that he wouild tell Amy, "No, I am not going I want to stay".
Both characters and genders can be strong and capable without putting down the other. I wish the writers of this show would have tried to do this better.
I agree with you that things have gotten better in the later seasons. They had to do something to repair Amys damaged image. Still, because of her earlier behavior, Amy still comes across to me as insincere and willing to cut Ty down (as she did when she called him a sexist for wanting to earn his share of the farm downpayment) anytime the opportunity presents itself.
I dont understand your reference to "tight pants and chest size" . That is one thing that I really like about this show is that sex is not front and center. If it was, just think how many ways that Amy could say or do something to make Ty look bad.

@@Brandon-yr3rb Amy changes after Chase comes into her life and shows her the adulation, money and fun that can be had ( when on Ring of Fire tour, though Amy comes up with her favourite dialogue - NOTHING HAPPENED....). She gradually becomes a hardcore Fleming as the series progresses - self centred, dominating and money money and more money - till Ty stands up like a man, stops being her puppy and puts a stop to this and gets Amy back on track. ( I sure Marion would have been happy to see that) !
I was happy to see Ty moving on to become a Vet from a ranch hand shovelling horse manure ( same as Scott as given to understand). That ensured both Tim and Jack respected him ( though now they have a 'Vet for free' sitting at home !!!!)
Why re u all concerned about youngsters falling in and out of love.. These things happen so many times in real life than reel life. Ultimately it's how u live ur married life is the most important. Ty and Amy both did things that any youngsters in their age does but eventually they became matured from their break ups and led a good married life. We can learn the good things they did as a couple.

It really boils down to each his own. People have different likes and dislikes. I have seen many so-called award winning A-list actors that I thought were terrible. This series resonates with a very large fan base or it would not span the amount of time it has.
Well now that Graham is gone I hope they get Shaun Turner to be Amy's new boy friend so we can get some better inter action scenes with Amy and her new love interest. LOL
