So many times he got the boss down to a sliver of health when he hasnt fired a shot and I'm just yelling "SHOOT HER, YOU HAVE TO SHOOT HER"
It really feels like he’s too reserved and isn’t aggressive enough with many of his fights

I wouldn't be surprised if people forget that the gun does damage since if Ur used to the other souls games then you'd be used to it being just a parry and nothing else and wouldn't expect any damage from it

be fair vial's can be rather expensive. honestly just faster to grind up vial's near the start of the game. IIRC you can get like 5 vial's or so per run. + blood echo's to buy more vials.
I personally can't watch live Jazzy's streams because of my full time job. So when a new video pops up in my notification feed it feels like and old friend returns from his grand adventures and wants to share his stories over some dinner. Love the video as always Jazzy, you're a gem 💎

Farming for vials also gives you echoes to level. If you need more vials, you arguably more levels. It actually forces your character to improve, while you get the health to actually make it doable. So, the act of farming vials to get through the boss fight, gives you the echoes to actually beat the boss fight. Yes, the pace changes, but it also means you don't just keep bashing your skull into the wall. You /will/ get better. Through experience and through echoes. Tying healing to a depletable item means you're always gaining echoes, which in turn mean you don't have to be as good or as familiar with the boss.
I never thought of it like that really, I just focused on the fact that I just needed blood vials. Not a bad point to make at all actually...
@@thesonofjazzy_ Fromsoft is actually really good about shaping their game around the difficulty. And that means some things are actually more organic, and that means that sometimes you don't notice certain things. They aren't perfect obviously but they do a really good job, imo.
@@thesonofjazzy_ Also, someone recently pointed out to me that if you look at it from a thematic standpoint, when you run out of blood vials to consume, you go start farming enemies, killing anything that stands in your way for hours. You literally become a blood-drunk hunter, hunting through the night...
Although true, I don't like it either way. This and the god forsaken moon grass in Demon Souls, just made me not like these games as much, as the others from this studio
@@AshenVanguard I think moongrass in Demon's souls is easier then Vials in bloodborne. not only can you have multiple of different types that fill various amounts. Various enemies drop them in decent quantities + you can always buy more. it makes the start of demon's souls a bit harder. but once you get your build together, I found it rather easy to stay topped up with plentiful amounts of the stuff.
compared to bloodborne where the most you get is like 28 vial's no matter what.

i was waiting for this video to come out after you got the platinum and im so happy its here bloodborne is in my top 5 fav games of all time and its there for a reason the world is horrifying but beautiful, the bosses are so well designed and i enjoy every one of them except micolash feck him, the weapons are unique and amazing to use , the dlc is perfection bosses are some of the best, the soundtrack is phenomenal and the lore is so gritty and i love it this is why its one of my favs and im so happy to see you do the other souls games thx jazzy for this amazing content.❤❤❤

Nice video! Only thing i would advise against is to delay the dungeons, they give blood echo's which are nice to get and can give you a bit of an edge against bosses.

I appreciate that Lies of P is on the list.... it's by far the most unique and creative proper souls game, next to it I'd say is the Surge duo of games

Hey Jazzy long time watcher and enjoyer of your content. If you ever need a small break from this massive undertaking your on with the Souls-Borne series then I have a couple of games to suggest playing in order. First Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising, great game and I cam say for certain it is a nice grind at least to me. Second is Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes which I am currently grinding. The first is a prelude to the second so it is a lot shorter but if you do everything for it you get to transfer save data to the second for an amazing experience. This is just a suggestion so don't feel like you have to. Love your content and hope you keep up the good work 👍.
honestly the hardest achievement for me was 100% the ptumerian queen, not because of the fight but because of the time it takes to reach her if you dont cheese it by using a glyph to go straight to her, going through the chalices and getting the materials is the thing the took me the most time to do, just for what, as it was for you, my last achievement was to get all the weapons, logarius wheel was the last one, i got it and started spaming gestures for the platinum screenshot, the game crashed. the screenshot for the all weapons achievement was the main screen of the playstation and the platinum was the main menu from bloodborne, i almost cried

...I've nearly plat this game but never knew you can hit mergo when invis? I thiught it was a teleport/invincible move when she went invisible into the phantoms I think is what happens
I watch plenty of gameplay before, and I can tell you were VASTY not spec for Micholas. He's considered one of the easiest since he's humonoid but if you don't have the specs needed: you can't tank his arcane spells.
The orphan is easy compared to the shark duo
Main issue with orphan is people forget to pary
NGL, even outside of not using summons... the Holy Blade is a *REALLY* hard weapon to use. Bloodborne rewards aggression, constantly moving, and sticking close to the boss (and in many cases focusing attacks on limbs for staggers). The Holy Blade swings really slow, especially while transformed, making it much harder to stay close and aggressive and making it easier to get punished by counter attacks.
But it would be great in Dark Souls, which he played this game as.
@@JGWalrus yeah, it's one of the struggles of Bloodborne, it's a very different beast to the rest of the soulsborne games.
(maybe not AS different as Sekiro, but still a very different flow to the other games)
Old Hunters is on sale again on the PS Store, but I saw a comment on Reddit saying that if you have the game through Plus Extra, the DLC doesn't activate. Is that true? It seemed very strange to me.

I always remember someone saying that when they did a playthrough of Bloodborne, he stops just before the One Reborn, then when he picks it up again he can just get it out of the way quick because of how much he hated it.

Hey jazzy congrats on the Plat for bloodborne I also got the Plat but it took me longer to beat it because I wasn't in to Plat hunting and I get about the gimmick thing I also hate about the random ass aoe attacks and when I tried to get to the queen the fucking bosses before I was getting fucking tried off the bullshit the bosses were doing and I was in ng+3 and I finally killed the mother fucking queen
i think the misconeption with the froimsoftware games is people think they are kinda same mechanics but their not, demons souls and darksouls are mostly dodgeing, sekirop forces you to learn to block and parry and bloodborne is more towards taking hits and healing back by hitting them though it or by getting a viceral
I don't wanna seem like a "git gud" player. But I think BB is such a different game compared to most SoulsLike , just like Sekiro. Playing a str is so much harder unlike all the others as you get punished so much more than other games as BB is designed around faster paced fights and gaining HP back through bloodtinge. Overall amazing playthrough and well done sticking through with it for the 100%, most would look at a guide and go the easiest route, but you stuck with what you wanted to do, kudos to you. Bloodviles ARE annoying to farm, but once you play it 2-3 times, they are not as bad as you remember those cheeky enemy spawn placements and not get hit, thus start to gather a surplus of them by just getting to the next boss. Once again Well played and I hope you play this a few more times with a variety of builds in order to truly see what the game offers in different playstyles

By adding Lies of P to that list you opened a whole can of whoop-ass, because that's a soulslike, not from the series itself, and thus you are now obligated by international law to do every soulslike, such as Mortal Shell for example

Visceral damage scales off your Skill stat, not your weapon. It seemed you were going strength for the whole game, so that's why your viscerals seemed a little lacking.

I will get the urge to play this game and will give it a run through every once in a while but I always lose interest when I have to go farm blood vials every time. Farming blood vials is the most boring shit I've ever had to in any game and makes me lose interest in bloodbourne every. single. time. Love Bloodborne. My greatest achievement of this game is beating most of the bosses in both main game and DLC on my first go. The only ones I didn't were Father Wolf Guy (can't spell his name) Rom the Spider Mum, Martyr Luigi and the Living Failures. The Living Failures I only lost to because I got cocky about beating Ludwig in about 45 seconds
