Oh man, this is on par with early English voice work in games like Resident Evil.

On par with those games would be an accomplishment for this game tho. They messed up the all of the bgm for this game as well.

Resident Evil's voice acting actually wasn't that bad, it was the janky ass translation for the dialogue that was the problem. It's actually surprising it sounds as decent as it does, since one of the voice actors for the game said they would have multiple people crammed into something the size of a phone booth when recording lines. For a real dumpsterfire, listen to the voice acting in games like House of the Dead 2.
