Can you please confirm whether the Tribute series guitars and basses have USA made pickups and hardware across the range or only some of them? I'm contemplating looking at the Tribute series to add to my USA made G&L collection.
I’m not from G&L, but the MFD pickups are US made, but the other electronics are not, not you might want to upgrade pots and stuff eventually. Alnico pickups are not US made in the Tributes.
@@Jeb_binch Thanks for that. What had me wondering was this statement from the Tribute Series blurb on the G&L site, "With genuine G&L Fullerton made pick-ups, G&L designed bridges and electronics, Tribute instruments feature tone, sustain and playability that far surpasses instruments at higher prices." Then from the Tribute Fallout that I was looking at, "From dirty riffs to jangly hooks, the G&L Tribute Series Fallout delivers with a great pairing of Paul Gagon-designed Alnico pickups: a gorgous P-90 and meaty humbucker splittable via a push/pull tone pot." I guess I made a wrong assumption. Having said that I bought a used Tribute Fallout. Feels, sounds, looks and plays as good as any of my USA G&Ls.🙂
Nice colour that Comanche
