Sometimes we drop everything and do amazing things to save lives.
Today a dying puppy (weighing 0.5 lbs.) came in to the shelter. She had low blood sugar levels, was hypothermic and dehydrated. She was barely responsive. Fortunately, our shelter's amazing veterinary team pulled together an amazing effort to bring this girl back to life! We placed a catheter into her femur so that we could give her life-saving fluids and sugars. With that along with heat support, we got her eating from syringes and feeling so much better!

Boy, if that sweet, darling little puppy didn't break your heart then you just don't have one to break. A big thank you to you folks for taking care of this precious baby, and for all that you do for our furry little friends.

It breaks my heart when I think of babies be left alone. And how scary it would be to be lost and really do not know much. But know matter how young, fear and hungry is something I pray we never have to know.
I hope that little fuffy baby will ALWAYS remember the day you saved his life. Big Hugs for you.
bataviaborobudur yeah I was just gunna say I've done rescue for years. I get sick watching people in a hurry forcing a syringe of milk down throats of babies, they are gunna aspirate.
rocknrollch1ck.... some people are the most terrible monsters and animals abuser of them all. Last summer we picked a 4-month-old puppy out of a trashcan beaten half to death with open cut wounds and broken bones. She is doing fine now and I wish I could do the same to the person who did that to her.

I am so sickened watching how many abused dogs here on you tube. Are any of the people who did the horrible acts put in jail or somehow punished? Thank goodness for the good people of this team who were taking care of the puppy. Thank you for what you do.
+Esther Kelly That's why there are animal advocates, such as myself. We fight day and night on facebook for these poor creatures. You would not believe what some people have done to these animals. It breaks my heart. I had to stop for a while because I was afraid my health would be affected. There are some very evil people in this world. Being a voice for animals is how you get to see that. Men even rape dogs. I know I will stop here because I could tell you some things that would keep you awake at night.

I cried so hard just reading about poor tiny Lily, and how hard the first few, tragic days of her life were, and what she suffered. I am so relieved to know that she got progressively better, and was eventually adopted by her foster mom. I'm so thankful for happy, beautiful endings. Awww....this world needs more angels like you. Such a precious cutie. It's so sad that (inhumane and heartless) people would just abandon or throw away helpless newborn puppies/kittens to fend for themselves or suffer a long and cruel death. I have rescued a few and it is exhausting to care for them, so thank you very much for sharing this. These videos help us to understand how to care for newborn animals that need TLC so badly.

Aw. I love how much our culture loves dogs. Sure, we have some bad eggs, but there are plenty of us who would do whatever we could to save these little lives. After watching Yulin videos, I had to come and watch some videos where animals are being loved. Thanks for helping this little pooch!

She didn't die. There's a link below with update. She was saved and survived and she was adopted. It was a happy ending story.

+Rapture Ready actually bed side manner is something that is highly stressed in the last year of vet school for the human client as well as the animal patient. i would even go as far to say even more than in human medicine
Taryn Abrams Thanks for saying that...it is hugely important. They left my poor dog in an oxygen tank for a day with no blanket no water no food and no affection, nice way to treat her during the last day of her life. I am so angry.
How can someone even think of abandoning such a sweet, beautiful little puppy? I'm so happy she is doing well and has found a home. I do not understand how people can be so cruel, but I'm glad there are good people like this, willing to help an innocent victim.

I did find the full story. Thank you for posting it. So happy that LLily has a forever home with someone who really loves her. I do feel bad for the person who found her, and wanted her if she survived. She should have checked back to see how she was doing. She might have had the opportunity.
