Love the interface and the option to import prior settings. Can't wait to get a CNC so I can interact with these videos in a more intelligent way ... :) Always great work David and love the step-by-step approach to working with new software and hardware. You are really giving us new to this a leg up on the path to getting started. Thanks for all you do my man!

i feel like they should develop a MPG for the machine also with an E-STOP button etc.

does this also support 3+2 tilt workplane with workoffset shifting or only TCPC?

12:18 why is the tool length negative? i am asking because at work the spindle face is "0" and thus every tool has a positive offset.

Do you how can I add a custom workholding platform to either fusion 360 or rhino? or what software would you recommend? thank you and great video

In f360, create your platform model. Save it. In your design file. Save new files, then drag platform onto drawing. Platform will be linked in the new design.

it seems to me that the Estop and Reset are backwards. When crap is hitting the fan, you look for an estop button not a reset button. and once in estop, you need to reset to get back to normal operation.

Yea, software estops are never a as handy as physical switch, but this should be improved.

Sooooo ... Wish I had seen this video before upgrading. I was fighting with Win10 and beagle's unsigned drivers and removing the beagle board because mine is an older V2 blah blah blah. Accidently missed the page where I was supposed to back up my calibration file BEFORE upgrading to Kinetic Control. Now I have a shiny new set of controls and an uncalibrated, unusable machine!
    Now what do I do?

Your should be able to power down the machine, remove the sd card, then power up the machine to revert the installation, extract the calibration data, then power down and reinstall the sd card to get back to the new kinematic control... finally import the calibration data per my vid.
      good luck!
