What’s funny about this is that the Dunken employee (Matthew Maher) is actually a really stellar actor that appeared in Air (directed by Ben Afleck) and gave a wonderful performance there… and here plays an anon employee opposite super star Ben. Just funny to see, especially because Matthew Maher is a really great actor.

I think i would be able to pick ben out now with the accident (he actually sounds worn out trying it), it would be easier to confuse local guys as being ben from memory of him. Because of I made the same assumption about Adam Sandler though I actually talked with him not once, but twice on seperate occasions BEFORE I realized it was actually him. It reminded me alot about this, it was funny when he was just like "eh, I'm here filmin' a movie" 😂

The employees then ask…"Are you in The Departed?" Ben then shakes his head and says “I’m Matt Damon.” The male employee then says. “No yeah…I love him," "I love him," "I love him.” Ben mean while is like… "mmmm Nah, I mean some of his work”…he groans in disgruntled disappointment… The male employee then says…"He's had a really consistent career I think…yeah yeah yeah”.. I go to Dunkin Donuts multiple times a week. I don’t really need any encouragement but Ben Affleck makes you guys look way cooler haha. I do not feel for any coffee, restaurant, donut shop, whatever like I feel for Dunkin. Straight up part of the team and also I’m on team #NeverStarbucks
Ben Affleck was paid $10 million for this 30 second ad. So my question to you all is, does this make you all want to run Dunkin and buy stuff? Somebody at Dunkin though it was worth spending more than 10 million dollars. I just like to now how assumes this ad will boost their sales enough to recover this money plus profits? Is Ben Affleck that much of a star that simply watching this ad will make people run to Dunkin? I just don't understand.
This is a great commercial ! I am honored to have been a part of it , playing a customer in line while Ben does his thing .
