  • This is a quick Home Assistant Smart Home Server installation guide on a Raspberry Pi 3, 4, or better. Although you can install Home Assistant on old or new Laptops and Computers, it is not recommended as they consume more power and are not that energy efficient.
This is the first episode of the DIY Smart Home series that I have started so make sure you subscribe and support me on Patreon: / techposts -if you like my work. I need your support to continue this.
I am going to bring loads of new videos on how to build DIY smart switches, sensors, and devices, integrate them into Home Assistant, and create automation.

@Ravi Singh, excellent video! You just earned a new sub!
Tell me, which brand / make DIY smart switches, smart plugs, Symphony cooler smart switch regulator, and PIR sensors you are using?
Are they from one single manufacturer or different ones?

I built my DIY switches using ESPHome firmware and D1 Minis. You can visit www.makeuseof.com/author/ravi-singh/ to learn how to make them. Otherwise, you can purchase any smart plug, switches, etc. Tuya enabled
