    2:41:00 what a wrong information.
    Magnus is better than hikaru in 3+0 and in any other blitz
    Highest ever blitz rating is magnus 2986
    Magnus vs hikaru blitz head to head Magnus leads
    Magnus has 7 blitz titles, hikaru has 0 titles.
    Scc magnus leads hilaru when they played each other, 3-1
    Making this as rivalry is very naive by Danya.

    C'mon, Danya, Jan.... shame on you. _Casablanca_ is not some classic that's a chore to watch. There's a reason it's the #1 all-time movie. It's _extremely_ entertaining; so well put together, great script with really snappy dialog, good humor, intricate plot, romance, conflict. Watch it before you watch one more piece of modern trash you regret wasting your time on.

    Kind of stupid to make this a 2 board event and then just showing 1 of the boards for most of the time. Who makes these decisions? Yes, Magnus vs Hikaru was obv very exciting, but the last game by Vishy was basically not shown at all?? Seems very disrespectful towards a former world champion.

    Bobby Fisher is right Chess has been a lousy game for 3 centuries. It's mostly memorization and openings there is little creativity. The Chess pie to make a living out of it is very small so there are no friendly relationship between chessplayer. Fisher lamented that songwriters have friendly colleague relstions because the music entertainment pie is so big they are not worried about taking each other's meal, but no so in Chess. I think the world can easily invent new maths based board games like chess that are more interesting. Chess is after all only a set of mathematical rules. It's easy to invent better newer games. I feel that all the energy wasted by new generations of chessplayers should be invested in more interesting and new mathematical creativity. Chess is an exhausted game, it's been refined there is nothing left to learn, except being a machine. I know Magnus agrees.

    • @JohnSmithEx
      @JohnSmithEx 3 месяца назад

      It's easy to invent newer games, but not easy at all to invent better games. If you think it's easy, why aren't you inventing one this weekend? The reason that it's so hard to make a better game, is simply because chess is a so damn great game.

    • @ericastier1646
      @ericastier1646 3 месяца назад

      @@JohnSmithEx You're so short sighted and full of doubt. I can invent a board game not next weekend but in the next hour, in fact in the next ten minutes with as much potential as chess. There is nothing special about the mathematical rules of chess. Any person good at fundamental mathematical objects can devise most interesting games and yes it will be more interesting than chess because all stones have been turned in Chess there is nothing left to discover. Bobby Fisher strongly agrees and so does Magnus. "Chess has been a lousy game for 3 centuries." - bobby Fisher

    • @JohnSmithEx
      @JohnSmithEx 3 месяца назад

      @@ericastier1646 So why aren't you investing these 10 minutes to actually make this game of yours, that will be more interesting than chess, and present it to the world? What is there to stop you? Are you a person so busy that you can't afford to take a break for 10 minutes and do something interesting? Or maybe you are not so confident that the world will agree that your game is more interesting? Please create that game, in no more than 10 minutes, and show it to us!

    • @ericastier1646
      @ericastier1646 3 месяца назад

      @@JohnSmithEx You're a presumptuous fool. The main reason i will not do it here is because your attitude deserves no respect, I certainly am not going to present a new board game to a fool audience like you. Besides you must be mediocre at fundamental mathematics to not see that Chess is just a grain of sand in a beach of millions of possible board game. I am most amazed by how dumb people like you are.

    Vishy at this age against Magnus is just a joke. He was annihilated. He should give walkover against Magnus ad try to compete in the other matches. He can't even draw anymore against Magnus. He will lose every single time. It's utterly embarrassing to watch 😢

      Not really. Shorter time controls are better for older players in general because they can rely on intuition instead of brute calculation.
      And almost anyone would be an underdog against Magnus, especially when he is an avid follower of historical matches
