How i miss those Bad Old Good Old dayz... 2000-2005 Music sounds much more spiritual and well made than the present days ! I believe true break beat had its best days back in this period !!
Agreed! You get any DJ to do a party today and spin pre & post millennium breaks (circa '95 to '05 tracks in the crates), young kids today would be constantly on their Shazam apps saving each track, guarantee it! On concert Cerwin-Vega cabinets??? Game over, the DJ would wreck the spot on today's dancefloors!!!☺
well said that man..there was just so much more thought and feeling put into it..and we cant say it was the drugs coz by late 90's they were getting shite.. I think electro house proper killed it.. Even Meat Katie with his tech house/breaks crossover sound respected the vibe.. Nope, to many people jumped on the EH dollar bandwagon in my opinion and it was that same weak generic sawtooth synth bass sound ..But i'm not bitter hahah! :)
Whole heartedly agree with @riseup20twelve they we intouchable I know things have to move on but sometimes in those rare occasions when your so good at your craft you have to go back we need quality breaks again.
I always picture hot, sexy, powerful, bedroom-eyed women every time I listen to this. 😚 On play since 2005 for me, first listen was at The Monkey Bar in South Korea. ❤ Long live the breaks!
Michael Allsopp search up Adam Freeland and the entire Marine Parade label for starters. This was labeled under “nu-skool breaks” back circa 2002-2006. Highly recommend Plump DJs as well under Finger Lickin Records

This reminds me of the early break beat days of 2002-2005.... I miss this era and all the amaz

Scene ground zero was 1997. And if you dig crates you'll know the sound was around in the early 90s
Sounds so nostalgics. Miss it.
2:58 - brings back memories. This track seemed to be on every breaks set. Amazing nostalgic sound.
