- I have NO TOENAILS on my large toes , but in this video I make some using Gel X Dupe toenails . I take artificial toenails and use my nude polygel like a glue to attach them . It's one of the MOST EASIEST ways to make toenails for toes with NO NAILS ! I just hope they stay on for a while. Keep watching for the update to see how long they will last .

Ypu can use any artificial toenail or fingernail and apply it the way I show in this video . You don't have to use these nails ..... but they are very thin and flexable .

Oh my goodness my daughter just shared this video with me My toenails have been like this for 8 years I've tried going to the nail shop and they put the acrylic on but it's never on their right and always wind up accidentally catching it on a sock and it would come off but now I have something new I can do myself thank you so much for sharing and will look forward to future videos and your cell items

I have a few clients that need me to build a big toenail on them, I have always used acrylic and it works very well and the toenails stay on for many many months. But I would like to learn how to do a gel toenail on them to see how they do. I'm going to give it a try!

You could use a nude gel glue from Makartt which is intended to be used with full cover etched tips like the ones you’re using. With polygel as a base the tip would likely pop off and it’ll be like using a dual form. Speaking from experience.
It’s not like a dual form .
Mine stayed on for 4 weeks with coming off .
A dual form will release the cured polygel or builder gel , these will not .
I adhere my nails with acrylic.
My big toenail looked just like that from an accident when i was 16. The end of it turned purple once when it got below zero (F) and more of my toe was amputated. Its definitely different looking.
How do you remove it? is my question 🤔 I would like to do this on occasion cuz I am in the process of regrowing my nail but I’m afraid of long term damage so how soon would I also be able to remove it? Like after a week?

This is amazing, thank you!! I’ve glued nails on in the past and of course they don’t last especially when going into water but this is a game changer! How long did it last for you and do you prefer these toenails with the polygel or the dual forms?
No I don’t prefer these . They didn’t last as long . Only lasted about 5 days on a toe with no nail .

I used to mold this gel from scratch layer by layer, it takes hours to build and then shape into a nail so it looks 100% natural!! Seeing this video I think using the tips will make the process so much faster, I'm just curious why you can't remove the artificial nail after curing it under UV, like in the previous video? does the gel get stuck to the plastic? I thought I could maybe reuse it?
Because this is a totally different nail type and plastic . It’s not mean to be released from the form . These are not dual forms .

I'm doing this on a client , it lasts 7 to 10 days. After it falls, she glues it with eyelashes glue if she goes somewhere and she wears sandals 🤷♀️ have tried bio gel sculpts , acrylic... nothing lasts more than a week.
I find that whether a nail lasts long depends on what their nail bed looks like . If the nail bed has shrunk and is very small , no nail will ever stay more than a few days .
@. Denisejohn65 - Nail Ed it's pretty much similar to your nail bed. She used to have 1 millimeter of corners and would last a month ,but now they're gone and so is my artificial nail 🤦♀️😅

Of all the methods you have done for yourself, us this the one you like the best? Polygel inside a nail tip? Also how do you get them to last 8 weeks😮 im lucky if mine lasts the weekend.
This is no way my favorite . It only stayed on a few days . I like dual forms and polygel

No but they will create one with acrylic
How long will that last
I’ve had acrylics on my missing big toe nails and they’ll last about two weeks IF you only wear sandals. If you wear any type of closed toe shoe, the nail will start lifting up after 4-5 days.
What about other toes that is not flat or have no nails

I prefer polygel … these didn’t last to long for some reason … probably about 10 days .
Was there any issues? I did mine with gel nail glue and a gel nail. I had it one day and I hit it and it started to bleed. I had to try and take it off the best I could.
How do you remove them?
They fall off by themselves after about 8 weeks

Have you ever tried making your own soft gel tips by curing gel in dualform and than applying the diy tip with gel afterwards? @Nailcou on RUclips tried that and I thought it might be a good trick for toenails?
No , I just use the dual forms right on my toes.
No sense in making a extra step like that .

Can I use the regular toe tips instead of the dual form tips and remove it?
These are not dual forms . These are regular glue on tips and they do not release like a dual form would . I’m just using the builder gel as like a glue . The end result is that I didn’t think these stayed on very long for some reason .
So I had all ten of my toenails permanently removed. So with that being said could I do all this to all my toes??
You could , but I don’t think they would stay on for only a few hours maybe a day . I have no way to tell how long they would stay .

It’s been a while since I’ve done this method, and recently decided to do it again. I used IBS power bond and Rosalind poly gel which I’ve had for a few years and I could not get it to work. Is that because the product isn’t good anymore?

I did the usual prep and put the bond on, then loaded the form, pressed it on the toe, cured it for 90 seconds, and it had not bonded! The gel came right off😯
The polygel came off of the artificial nail or what ? Was was it cured hard on the toe or tip .

This is not a dual form . It’s a full cover artificial nail . Instead of glue I used polygel . These don’t stay on long tho . I only got a few days wear .

No this is not a mold . It’s a glue on nail and I used polygel as the glue .

Try testing with some glues made for gluing on skin. The kind made for gluing silicone prostheses on skin for movies, tv, etc. I would bet it would work.

They were ingrown so the doctor removed them permanently . My artificial nails stay on for 1 - 8 weeks … sometimes a little longer

Really depends on the nail bed skin …. wether you have a toenail or not … anywhere from a few hours to to 8 weeks .
