I totally get it, I came to watch you to help me through the day. A week ago Friday we lost our 14 yr old granddaughter she was the girl I never had, my world, it’s so hard to wrap my head around it Erik. My son’s gone back home , I’m trying to find someone to help him with his yard. I know God is in control , but the pain at the moment is almost unbearable . Keep us in your prayers please. As always I’ll continue to pray for you and your mission❤🙏🏼(Robbie)

I know how he feels . Last year at this time I started bringing my dad to doctors appointments and at the end of March he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and pancreatic cancer. He passed away 11 days after finding out. It’s a hard place to be at. I understand where this guy is coming from… it will make a year April 8th he passed away. It seems still unreal to me 😢😢😢😢

@@dougr188 good character is to be able to apologize when you did something wrong.
Don't be a smartass. Saying don't act that way in the first place just means you have to be perfect. There is no room for redemption in people with your line of thinking. You stand on moral pedestals believing yourself to be righteous. No room to make amends.
In fact, saying good character is to not act that way in the first place tells me that I should never apologize when I do something wrong. Because there is no worth to it. I'll double down instead.

So glad you and your friend had that chance encounter with Mike even though it started out in a very unpleasant and negative way. Erik, You should have told Grumpy to go take a hike, If he's that tired he should be able to sleep, To be honest, I'd say there's more Noise coming from the traffic on the road in the background, Apart from Grumpy, That's another fine job you've done, keep it up, ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️, As you say, Nobody knows what's going on in people's lives, As we say here in Scotland, it's good to talk, Hopefully the guy is getting the help he needs

Bad days happen to everyone. Taking responsibility for bad behavior says something. Also my husband used to say if it runs it breaks. Have the problems with farm equipment also usually in the middle of planting season or harvest. Thank you for your service to the community.

It just goes to show, the way you handled him, not getting mad and yelling at him or being rude, goes a long way. More kindness and less anger is always the better road to take. Keep being you and never stray from the path God has put you on. Hugs and prayers for you, your family and those you help. ❤🙏🙂

I'm sorry this gentleman lost his dad in such a short period of time. This is not the first time someone has complained about not being able to sleep during the day while you guys were working. Not to be insensitive to what he has going on in his life, but has he thought about getting noise cancelling headphones? If you're sleeping during the day when it can be noisy - even if it's not someone running a mulcher - I think it would be a wise investment. I agree with other's comments about your compassion for others and what they're going through. Keep up the good work.

Great work Erik❤❤❤. Some times people need help but don't know how to ask , due to stress or situation beyound their control. Weather its an ear to bend ,so they can unload some of the weight they are carrying. Its nice that you helped the neibour by just listerning to him it can make a great deal of help❤. I have been absent of late in the comments as I recently had a back up scan for lung cancer I am pleased to say the scan was clear , it has'nt come back🎉🎉. Keep up the good work Erik❤❤❤❤❤

Seeing your Kubota tractor takes me back to 2012 when my husband's ex boss bought one for 29,000 without letting his wife know. She hit the ceiling. He was constantly buying things off of those infomercial ads on late night TV. The yard looks fantastic!

Same happened to us. My mother died of Stage 1V Colorectal cancer after doctors just dismissed her and our concerns because she was ‘old’. She died 14 days after they found it, riddled with metastases.
So I know how the guy feels. He was decent enough to come back & apologise and was clearly at the end of his tether.
I admire the way you never retaliate. 👏👏

You're right, Eric. God did place you in the right place. The poor man Mike needed someone like you to get his frustration out, and then you listened to him, and he was certainly thankful. God is good !🙏❤️
