Don't listen to that other guy. You'll rsck up a 1000 miles really quickly. It's important to remember you're always learning. I have almost 2k on my vitpilen 401 and I'm not ready to get rid of it yet and it's still fun. You'll have fun on your R3 for a good while
Love the track videos, I think it’s really cool seeing you have fun without worrying about other riders being faster than you and just having your own fun at the track. It just goes to show how you don’t have to be the best and show off to have fun, and having some humility can make life that much more enjoyable.

I never understood the fun of track driving. I've done it in a car and it was kind of boring. That was until i had my mandatory track driving to get my MC lisence yesterday (on the driving school's Ducatti Scrambler) and it was one of the most fun things I've ever done.
@@alexduey7868 chassis also is a bit different in the fixations of the engine and in the angle of the front end, which makes the bike way more flickable and reactive. The tail too is different, and it has allocations for bags.
@@yammienoob weren’t you at eicma 2019? There was a glass box with leaves and you could see some elements of the chassis. If you search for them you can find online some photos of the test Tuaregs around Noale in Italy. It’s not a question of “if”, but about “when” it will come out. Rumours tell us it will be announced this autumn.
After a few hundred miles now, I can say it really is a joy to ride, and I love it that I can set it up with the map and settings I like. It’s a great motorcycle.
Any technical issues so far with the Tuono 660 ? A lot of people talking about the reliability of this beauty and Aprilia in general ... 🇮🇹. I'm thinking about getting this one or a Trident 660
It's how well I remember this track.. even though I only have 73 laps on it.. So here it goes, Yammie, 4:51 go wide in that corner, stay wide all over and then try to hit the apex for the next one.. you'll have a better exit angle and better speed.

Do you play Motogp 21? If not I really suggest trying it for a video or something, its so cool to race on a track in the game and then actually go there in real life. I did it in Jerez and its such a weird and cool feeling!✊
The auto blipper seems to be a problem on the Tuono, I'd one one out for the day on test and a lot of the time clutchless downshifts were impossible or would've needed violent kicking down which you don't want to do, the great thing about the 660s is they're gonna make the supertwins series so good
I was super impressed with Tuono 660. like you said, super easy to flick and sucked up the bumps really well. the lack of top-end at the 11k+ made it just a tad slower than the RS. You could have dropped down to B group for the 660 demos, a lot less litre bikes. hey I made a yam vid!
Just a suggestion, but have you considered covering vintage bikes instead of all these new expensive European bikes that nobody in the USA can afford currently? The Honda CB360, the Honda CB450 twin, with the special experimental valve train called the "Black Bomber" that could produce 45 horsepower somehow. Or the awful XS650 Special twin, which has a full roller bearing crankshaft. Or the original 1971 KZ900 which was the very first crotch rocket, and it also had a full roller bearing crankshaft, and rods. These old engines could be covered. The 1968 Honda CB750 which had 68 horsepower in my timeline. Or the CBX1100 (not affordable, but unique and special). How about finding a really old bike, and doing a "resto project." I think you could bring in a huge new audience. I love modern bikes, but the older bikes are incredibly beautiful, and endearing. Like an old muscle car.
Agree with Yam, but I still think that Aprilia should get back into the 800-1000cc twin segment like they used to. Something with 130-140hp and boatloads of torque would be a perfect stepping stone up from the traditional middle-weights, and be a bike you'd never have to upgrade from unless you specifically desire that 200hp flagship literbike status. An RS900 for 13k would be sweet
@@Fin.mint. I ended up getting a 2001 Mille in good condition, literally hits the sweet spot so well. There's just something about big twins. I was considering the 660 as well but with it being new there was nothing affordable in the used market.
Not an easy question to answer! Ergonomics are different in more than one point but not dramatically. The plus of the tuono are flickability, the possibility of fitting bags on the rear tail, a more relaxed position, suspensions targeted for the road, and the slightly lower price. The better choice if you mainly go on the road and only go to tracks once or twice in a year. Plus of the rs are fairing, a more effective position for racing, even if not Extreme, and a more sophisticated electronic package and stiffer regulable suspensions. I would choose the tuono because I don’t go on tracks, but both of them are a good choice, it’s up to your preferences.

Video title is a little misleading.....most of the time in the video you was complaining about the bike. Maybe its better suited for a tighter more technical track. That track definitely looks like a grip and rip.....and a 1000cc bike.
Lighter, slightly more ergo riding position, more low end torque. I loved my triple, but you have to really rev it out to feel the pull, I didn't enjoy riding it around town

Im torn between this tuono 660 and a street triple rs. I know the street triple RS is about a grand extra but the extra money might be worth the extra bit of power, fully adjustable front suspension, and over all nice little details like adjustable levers. How would compare both bikes? Pros and Cons?
@@DaOzMan0608 of that I have no doubt!! I owned a 2018 a ST RS that was recently totaled by a dealership. This tuono caught my eye and a local dealership has some in stock time to give a try but it’s going to be hard to live up to the ST!

If you were looking at an RS660 vs Triumph, it’d be a difficult decision. But compared to a Tuono 660, I’d take a Street Triple any day.
