For a verb to be transitive it must have a subject and an object (two separate nouns that can transit). Transitive verbs can be made passive. Normally, causatives like got are not transitve as their passive forms are weird.

One question.
Can a causitive verb like ( got ) be used as transitive verb?
For a verb to be transitive it must have a subject and an object (two separate nouns that can transit). Transitive verbs can be made passive. Normally, causatives like got are not transitve as their passive forms are weird.
Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!excellent
Thanks Manisha :)

Ma'am I watch your videos many times, really helpful. I have a query
"To get out " will be considered as verb or not while counting verbs to know the no. of clauses in a sentence ?
Phrasal verbs are counted as verb but if it has "to " also then ? Will it becomes imposter verb ?
'to get out' is an infinitive. Phrasal verbs are verbs. Phrasal verbs have their infinitives. They can be conjugated.
@@TheMindspringsEnglishTeacher thanks a lot ma'am.
How could present participle also known as gerunds and past participle be under finite verbs?
Present partciple is the -ing or -ed form of verbs. They can make the present continuous or past continuous tenses. But without helping verbs they are not verbs and become gerunds (nouns) or participles (adjectives)
