Found you after watching one of Adam’s videos glad I tried it. Great on the video I’ve never tried it as a destination will have to look into it now that my kids are older and no longer picky eaters.

We ate lunch at Hollywood & Vine during COVID while it wasn't a buffet, and that was really some of the best food I've ever had in my life. So good! Can't wait to see what it looks like during the breakfast buffet!
Can we take a minute to admire those floors tho? Most people don’t notice but there are several places in DW that have incredibly creative and well done floors.
I like the aesthetic of the restaurant. Great character interactions! The buffet has a good variety for the price point. Cheesy potatoes is a side dish. I may consider this location in the future, but probably as part of a FANTASMIC dining package. Love the Magic or Tragic segment. Great overall review!
Cheesy potatoes are a side but I can see why someone would consider them a main in their heart.

I have done this and it’s delicious!
We have not eaten breakfast here but we very much enjoyed the lunch buffet offerings. There is a ton of variety and we really liked the food. I don’t know why this restaurant isn’t more loved. It’s also not as huge as places like Chef Mickey and you get a lot of interaction with the characters.

Potatoes are ALWAYS a side ( fries, mashed, baked, au gratin,hash browns, etc.)

I think cheesy potatoes could be either, but it depends on what it's served with or if it's meant to be part of the main entree (casserole). However, I think it's a side for me. Sorry, Sage
I love a good buffet... sure, they can be hit or miss, but 9 times out of 11 they're a hit because there will be something for everyone. Hollywood & Vine is a solid buffet, but there are better choices out available. But if you're having a full day at the park, then by all means definitely go for it, especially if you have kiddos. Always enjoys an Emma/Sage restaurant review as it will be informative and entertaining. (Also, just as an aside... FRY - if you read this comment, tomorrow in chat... time for a poll! Cheesy potatoes... Entree' or side? The answer is quite obvious... it's both!)
Cheesy potatoes would only be classified as an entree if you are doing a vegetarian meal with no chicken, salmon, bacon, ham, sausage, etc). Otherwise it is a side.
We really didn’t like the food here and the characters are right outside up near the dance party and you can have all the time you want with them for free because they rarely have lines lol we felt ripped off 🤣 the lunch wasn’t much better the food wasn’t great but the carrot cake cupcake was one of the best things that we had our whole trip, which was crazy. We don’t even like carrot cake, but man that was really good. Other than that we were not happy with it. The best places to eat in Disney World for a character meal is CRT and topolinos 🎉

If I was doing a character dining it wouldn’t be that one cuz I just don’t know those characters other than Goofy.
Where would I find the best Biscuits 'n Sausage Gravy in Disney World? I thought Cape May's was pretty good, but that was in 2018...

Fry does a lot of behind the scenes work & lives in Texas so she’s not able to travel to Florida as often for filming

Cheesy potatoes are a side if it is just cheese and potatoes. Now it can be an entree if it has something like bacon or steak bits also inside. I would need to see pics.
As much as I enjoy watching Sage and Emma “live,” I sort of wish this video had some voiceover while in the restaurant, because the background noise can be a bit overstimulating.

Alert me when they rotate out Fancy Nancy for Sofia the First, because it’s not fair except for Goofy(who shouldn’t be at both Play n Dine and the Seasonal Dine), all the DJR shows representing this Breakfast have all came to an end and none of them except for Goofy are even that popular, so why did they did keep Dottie, Vee, and Nancy and yet they phased out Sofia for the latter when Sofia came to an end, it’s not fair.
I hope they would eventually phase out this Breakfast if they can’t bring back Sofia the First for a new character Breakfast experience where it would be completely different and would feature characters from Phineas & Ferb, The Owl House, The Ghost & Molly McGee, and Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur in the morning, while Minnie’s Seasonal Dine stays the same
