Honestly I liked it better with 16 games. Its weird having an odd number of games in a regular season. 18 games is just too much no matter how many bye weeks they have

PHILLY MIKE!!!! Real shit, you can’t have a young, hungry team like this and not expect a deep playoff run. We all saw what they did last year. Now they have better coordinators, better players. Healthy, for sure one of the best teams in the league. If Davis and Carter show up like they need to, big plays by big play makers baby. I’m fucking stoked for this season.
Just think if we had gotten Fangio a year ago. Forget about how good the defense would have been then. But imagine how much better it would be this year in year two of the system? Remember the jump in Gannons defense from 2021 to 2022? Now we have to wait for 2025 to see that level of play

His height was brought up a lot his first year as a starter. He has massive Guards which is the concern. A 5 step drop might become a 6 step drop and that's sometimes all a DE needs to win

I don't disagree with less practice. Kids start doing sports a very young age and play for multiple teams for multiple sports. In most cases they play a sport all year round. When Fangio began coaching it wasn't like that. They didn't have as many AAU teams or league teams for kids to play on. Some kids do multiple sports for years until they pick one. That is a lot of mileage on their body. So by the time they make it to the pro level, their body is worn and more prone to injury.

Sirianni literally brings nothing to the table. Just fire him, hire Kellen Moore. We will then have stability on the offensive and defensive side of the ball because Fangio isn’t going anywhere and Kellen Moore can keep his scheme with just minor tweaks with the new OCs. Whereas with Sirianni the offense will need an overhaul every time a new OC comes

We can agree on that? The offense sucked before Steichen took over, then Steichen made it great, then it sucked again afterwards and everyone was reporting that it was Nick’s offense last year. So then you can say he’s a situational guy… well, he’s effed up a lot of those situations as well. Ok, then say he’s a culture guy. Even if that’s true, is it worth a HC job and constantly revolving OC’s? Prob not. But watching the collapse last year and all the players saying it was communication and stuff between coaches and players.. probably not the best locker room guy either. He’s a great cheerleader when things are good cuz he gets very hype.. but he doesn’t know what to do when things aren’t good. Coaches should be steady and a rock for the team. Let's stick with JUST THIS YEAR. I say the CB1, CB2, CB3, SAF1, SAF2 COMBO THIS YEAR should be CB'S 1 & 2 - Quinyon, Slay, CB3 Avante Maddox SafetY 1 CJGJ SAFETY 2 COOPER DEJEAN.
I say putting COOP at SLOT ISN'T MAXIMIZING what should be a 100% of the snaps on field of COOP. As CB3 he WON'T BE on field for as many snaps as he would as the STARTING SAFETY. The second reason, which MAY be just as significant is AVONTE MADDOX is a GOOD CB3. We let him go because he is always getting hurt! If and when he does, then of course u put Coop there but UNTIL then I think MADDOX is a top 10-12 SLOT CORNER when he's been healthy. I feel like COOP can be basically a CJGJ clone. Well if you have a better CB3 than 2/3 of the league already why NOT then start COOP AT SAFETY and as long he is what we think he is, when combo with CJGJ we're talking about a top 3-6 SAFETY TANDEM! WITH QUINYON, SLAY & Maddox being in top 8 for sure for overall talent CB1 - 3. SEEMS THIS has our Best on the field together 4 THE MOST total snaps. What say you EAGLES BRETHREN?!?
